Its burning in rugged terrain just east of the community of lower lake about 20 miles north of calistoga. Now burned more than 84 square miles in three counties and just 5 contained. The fire has grown in size partly because firefighters let it burn freely in an unpopulated area so that they could focus on saving homes. Evacuees are taking what they can. Terrifying. But you just go and get everything you can. Take care of your animals and do what you can to get out of here. More than 6300 structures are threatened right now.
