They are comparing the covid crisis to a train about to derail. Among the new restrictions is a quarantine. Will it be enforced . We begin coverage with bay areas Marianne Favro at san joses bay area international. Reporter San Jose International must post the information and also give each arriving passenger a copy of the order. Letting them know that they are required to quarantine for 14 days. This is the last group of travelers arriving at sjc who will not be asked to quarantine. But at midnight that all changes. Thats when a new travel order goes into effect in Santa Clara County requiring people who travel more than 150 miles from the county to quarantine for 14 days. Travelers have mixed feelings about the restriction. For most people that doesnt really that wont really fly with their sort of lifestyle, right. Irk work

Pretty quickly as weve already seen in parts of the state. Take a look at Southern California and the San Joaquin Valley there. A shelter at home order now taking effect there tomorrow night. This all comes as the state surpasses 1. 3 million cases. Yesterday alone the state added more than 25,000 new cases. For much of the bay area theres so much uncertainty right now. The bay area. Now it looks like we are getting some of relief. We are catching a break for some spots as the rain is tapering off and what we expect as we head into late morning and into the afternoon. We are still seeing some activity here and there. Green on the radar as well as snow that continues for the sierra. Look at storm ranger. Our mobile doppler radar. The red scan you see around the bay area, we are seeing rain in parts of the north bay as we get a closer look and moving through northern napa county and northeastern Sonoma County and moving off towards the east as youre still seeing some pockets of some heavy rain in that area. Then as we move elsewhere across the bay area, we are seeing some spotty showers. Marin county, as well as San Francisco, a chance of light rain and then we are going to see rain chances continuing.
