School and middle school. No one was hurt. The lockdown was lifted and school resumed. But then about 2 hours later, around 2 p. M. , police got another report of a second student with a gun which prompted this second lockdown out of precaution. It turns out the Student Police were looking for in that case was already off campus. Police did contact him and say they found no weapon in that case. The school was given the all clear around 3 p. M. Police are still investigating the two incidents and are not saying yet if they may be linked. Investigators do say the 14 yearold boy who brought the gun here is a milpitas resident. He is facing charges for bringing a firearm to campus but could face more depending where the investigation goes. This is a reminder for parents to lock up firearms.
