You notice the clouds off shore to the west. This all part of a front that will be crossing the state tomorrow with scattered rain showers and a huge change in our weather Going Forward. Its thick out there if you havent been outside or heading outside in the next little while. Keep that in mind. Temperatures because of that fog, the great equalizer, within a couple of degrees of each other, most places around the state this morning in the low to mid 30s and here is that fog. Visibility down to a quarter mile or less in so many locations, around this morning, its certainly just, you can be in a spot where you can see and virtually the seacoast, no visibility whatsoever. Above the fog theres plenty of clouds and theyll thicken up more through the day and in fact, whats off to our west . More mixed rain and snow showers headed in our direction through the day today, but it wont be a complete washout. Were looking at scattered eventually burn off in the 40s. Heavier downpours embedded in here either side of tewksbury across 93 and north redding to middleton and heavier rain through southwest New Hampshire. For areas along the south coast and on southeastern massachusetts. I think this is where the rain will be heaviest. Were not seeing much rain; the focus is on to the west, where you can see most the same right now outside southeastern massachusetts. Its generally shifting eastward, with the heaviest downpours around worcester right now. You can see that the rain is organizing with under offshore. Lowpressure to the south is goto and that will give us heaviest rain along areas of the south coast. Its very humid outside, raining in boston, 77 degrees. The dew point is in the lower 70s, so it is a soupy day. Were going to try things out this afternoon, especially from boston north and west. You can see the rain filling in through the morning. Midmorning we are still looking at the rain, and as we get into the afternoon, notice how we are southeastern massachusetts, where we could have rainfall rates over one inch per hour.
