morning, amy, it's the last of the warmest days out there for us. we've had an incredible stretch the weather, patchy fog out there this morning with the clearer skies for some and after the low clouds and the fog burn off, it will be sunshine through a good portion of the day. you notice the clouds off shore to the west. this all part of a front that will be crossing the state tomorrow with scattered rain showers and a huge change in our weather going forward. temperatures starting in the 30's for the most part and a high into the 50's. a few southern spots reaching 60 with partly to mostly sunny skies. any chance of snow in the next system in a little bit. amy: news this morning, a pedestrian was hit by a pickup and investigators say that daniel baker was allegedly driving when he struck someone. the victim was found and taken to the hospital. baker was arrested for driving while intoxicated. he's due in court next month. a belmont couple is shaken up after three teenagers allegedly broke into their home in broad daylight. this happened on friday, now two of the juveniles are facing charges. cherise leclerc bs story. cherise: the couple was shaken up. they live on a quiet street steps away from the police department and the fire department. the last thing that they expected to happen. shannon carbone and nick on high street have the markings where police fingerprinted for evidence after shannon came home friday morning and noticed the door wide open. >> i thought it was my son home so i continued into the house and found we had been broken i was scared. cherise: thinking intruders could be laying in wait, she grabbed two knives from the kitchen. nick received a frantic call from shannon and rushed home. >> i thought it was crazy just to come home with the fire department right there and have somebody in broad daylight break into my house. >> the thieves made off with several of the son's items, the xbox 360 and his guitar, the >> officer belanger responded, the k-9 officer. the k-9 veto was able to track and when he was tracking he came upon a construction worker who said he had seen some people leaving the area and he was able to describe them. cherise: from there, two teens were caught. what's most shocking to shannon and nick, this all happened in broad daylight where anyone could have seen the burglars. they want their neighbors to >> we just decided tonight we're going to be getting some security systems put in and possibly going to be getting our permits to carry because i don't feel safe in my own home anymore. cherise: police are continuing to investigate as one of the suspects is at large. the teens are known to the department. i'm cherise leclerc, news 9. amy: right now police are saying that he robbed the credit union on penny lane. he was seen leaving in a silver colored subaru hatchback. no decision in the court battle over keeping bus drivers on the rob in two southern new hampshire school districts. timber lane and hampstead are fighting to keep their drivers on the job despite a strike being approved for first student federal court on friday. it's unclear what the next step will be. students in west high school were evacuated after several people reported feeling sick. about 950 people were evacuated to the athletic fields after fumes spread through the school. the fire officials determined the issue was a floor care product put on the gym floor that caused the problems. >> we have medical staff on scene, and checking if any students had any medical issues. we determined it was one student and broad to the hospital. amy: both the student and teacher taken to the hospital were treated for nonlife threatening injuries. fire crews will continue to work through the weekend to fully contain the covered bridge fire in the north country. right now, the u.s. forest service says it's about 70% contained and crews are mopping up and controlling the burned area to make sure there are no additional hot spots. that covers the white national forest. a popular north country restaurant will reopen today after a fire damaged part of the white mountain cider company in glen friday morning. 50 firefighters from surrounding towns were called to the scene. it took about an hour to get it under control. the building destroyed is the deli and retail portion of the business. the restaurant is another building and was untouched. >> i'm sad, i mean, we put a lot of love in the building and making changes there and it's so, a fun time of the year in there especially, so to kind of watch that momentum die, you know, it's sad. >> two firefighters suffered minor injuries. the fire marshal's office is investigating the cause. >> an 87-year-old veteran of three wars and his wife are in for a huge surprise this weekend. 87-year-old john ragonese and his wife margaret lived in raymond since they retired. the years have taken a toll on his health and the house. depot for materials to repair a bathroom, the store found out john was a vet and offered to help. >> i'm just amazed because they're reconstructing the whole place for him. >> i just think it's wonderful. john is a world war ii veteran, a veteran of the korean war and a veteran of vietnam. he's given a lot all of his life and deserves to get paid back. >> john and visiting family in massachusetts for the patchy fog in places, otherwise partly cloudy skies, turning partly sunny as the sunrises this morning and what should be another mild afternoon with temperatures in the 50's. from there, big changes as the we'll have the details in your seven-day forecast looking toward thanksgiving coming up. amy: police are investigating after an apparent noose was discovered in a bathroom at a michigan middle school. teachers say they heard a commotion in one of the boys' restrooms around 2 p.m. yesterday and found a noose hanging from one of the stalls. this comes after students at the same school were seen in a video chanting "build the wall" last week. the video garnered millions of views on facebook, but was later taken a former massachusetts funeral director will be spending time behind bars after police say he improperly disposed of bodies. william ryder was sentenced to jail. he ran a funeral home in south hadley. back in 2014 officials allegedly found bodies there. he was accused of embezzling $400,000 from families. show "hamilton" he walked into the theater to a mix of cheers and boos. the chas thanked pence for attending, and the person who played aaron burr urged him to work for all americans. a major snowstorm moved into the midwest, up to a foot of snow in wyoming and colorado, leading to scary driving conditions, including a 15-car pileup in denver. officials now straight day temperatures will be at or above normal. we're looking at temperatures into the 50's. morning. giving way to partly to mostly sunny skies. temperatures in the 50's and could approach 60 in inland sections in southern new hampshire later on this afternoon. it will be a mix of clouds and sunshine. some early low clouds and later this afternoon, we need to see the clouds approach southeastern areas of the state with the marine time layer off shore. clouds increasing this evening from the west and from the east so behind that front colder air rushes in, light accumulation up north and some brisk winds and temperatures are not going to feel like highs in the 30's to lower 40's on tuesday. at the time being it's fair skies over the low fog and patchy clouds. you can see the huge area of a storm system well off shore. while we have the front back to the west with a light south easterly breeze today, the clouds off shore, they were navigating on shore and making steady progress towards us. temperatures today starting off from the mid and upper 20's in the north country in the monadnock region to mid 30's in southeastern areas. visibility down less than a third after mile in several locations this morning. bear this in mind if you're headed out, especially those areas that didn't have a true chance to a little sliver of warmth which is timed out right over the northeast this afternoon. temperatures today in the 50's to near 60 with that light wind and then we'll fall back into the 30's later tonight with increasing clouds. clouds start to approach from the east first and then the rain showers start to push into southeastern areas early tomorrow. we're going to look for a line of light rain from southwest to northeast and the morning hours, may end either side of mid day in western areas as some wet country, rain showers change over to areas of wet snow and likely be on and off monday into tuesday and southern areas stand the best chance of seeing snow showers or flurries with the northwesterly winds going to add a extra bite to the air. talking gusts on monday and tuesday, over 20 or 25 miles per hour, with temperatures only in the 30's. to maybe lower 40's for a brief time each afternoon. so it will be another mild you'll notice going forward, there isn't much reprieve here. as a matter of fact, probably the best day next week, ironically looks like the busy travel day on wednesday. sunshine, temperatures low and mid 40's. we get into thanksgiving and most of the maps have been hinting as a fairly weak system coming through. temperatures as rarg -- marginal. snow showers or showers, and for thanksgiving each day. amy: seems like good eating weather. kevin: and spending time with family. amy: an update on a story you first are searching for a man accused of impersonating an officer. a woman and her daughter claimed they were pulled over with a man with no badge. and a student expelled over his sexual relationship with another student. a jury and discussing the transition of power and the budget. we'll get to the stories and more in just a minute. first let's check in with meteorologist kevin skarupa in the weather center with a look at today's forecast. kevin: good morning, amy, a little bit of a snag in some areas with patchy fog, otherwise one last beautiful day across the area. the temperature a solid 10 degrees above normal. you'll notice the clouds off shore and a system back to the shower chances for us tomorrow. time being, temperatures starting in the 20's and 30's and again, some patchy fog burns off early. a blend of sunshine and clouds and highs in the 50's. that front coming through tomorrow is going to mean business with much colder air which should last most of next weekment we'll have the details with futurecast coming up in a few minutes. right now, new hampton police are searching for someone who impersonated one of he thought she was speeding. and police search for answers. >> the victim told police as soon as she saw the suspect, she knew something wasn't right and she got a detailed description of him in hopes that someone recognizes who he is. new hampton police wants to know who is pretending to be one of them. >> it's scary and it's hard to trust people when they're trying to impersonate law enforcement. pulled over on route 132 by who they thought was a cop in a silver blue charger. there were lights in the grill and no front plate. >> there was no badge, no radio, nothing that showed law enforcement other than the two blue lights. he allegedly said he pulled them over because he was speeding. he never i.d.'d the driver, but was concerned about her 18-year-old daughter and wondered if she was old enough to the to wea offered her driver's license, he did take the license and after that he let them go. police say he turned around and drove towards ashland. >> i don't know what would make somebody want to do that unless they've always wanted to be a police officer and denied in the past and they want to show some sort of power. i don't know whether this person or not targeted her because she was female. there were two females in the vehicle. i don't know if he would have done it if it was a male. >> victim described him a white a bun in between 25 and 35 years old. >> his behavior was feminine and his voice was on the feminine side. >> if faced with a similar situation, police recommend driving to a public lighted area or call 911. as investigators look for the purposetrator, some in town are on alert. >> be very cautious, be aware of your surroundings and try and just be aware. >> police haven't received any reports of this happening anywhere else nearby, but they have notifiedth anyone with information is asked to call the police right away. >> mike, thank you. phillips exeter academy has been ordered to reimburse the family of a student expelled because of his sexual relationship with another student. that family filed the suit over the way they responded to the incident. the jury ordered to reimburse the cost of a semester's tuition, expense for the trial from a dean's leave to a medical leave. >> a 12 week old puppy was found beaten and abandoned in a remote area of pittsburgh. she's beagle hound mix called holly. and there's a campaign to get her the medical treatment. both sides of her jaw were broken. part of teams are working very well together. amy: the budget must be presented in february. just a month after sununu is sworn into office. happening today, president-elect for secretary of state. trump ended his week with a flurry of appointments to his new administration. alabama senator jeff sessions as attorney general. retired lieutenant general michael flynn as national security advisor. and representative michael pompeo as director of the cia. yesterday, trump's lawyers settled all three fraud lawsuits against the former trump university for $25 million, for about 6,000 students with admission of wrongdoing. former massachusetts senator scott brown is now looking at a possible opportunity to join team trump. brown says he got a call from the president-elect friday and is being looked at as a possible secretary of veterans affairs. reporter from our sister station spoke with the former senator and has the story. >> my phone rang and you know, i have donald trump's number locked in so it was obviously suddenly rang. it was donald trump, the man he endorsed back before the nom primary asking brown for more help by possibly taking a cabinet post. >> he said what's your real passion? >> i said my real passion is soldiers, men and women are dying, committing suicide, astronomical rates. >> brown, a 35 year veteran of the army national guard views heading the department of veterans affairs as perhaps the toughest cabinet position, yet, the va is something he feels a calling for. >> you somebody dying or some type of negligence or a coverup in the va and it just makes you so angry. >> brown says va doctors and nurses need to get out to smaller towns where veterans live and work more seamlessly with the defense department, but as for what he'd do right expect for the month of november, where it is normally the cloudiest month of the year by the numbers. it's not been that. the sunshine helped warm things up, four degrees above average for the month so far, but all of this is about to change after a day today where temperatures had very early this morning. if you're not contending with that, a beautiful sunrise this morning in what should be a beautiful mid november day. you have the last of that yardwork to do or want to get up there and put up christmas lights, not light them, obviously, but put them up to ward off the colder temperatures down the line. nothing fun putting them up with wind chills in the 20's and 30's. mix of sun and clouds, 50's near with rain showers moving in early tomorrow morning and we'll have cooler air coming in behind that and a completely different weather pattern starting on monday with brisk winds and continuing through tuesday. as you'll notice on the satellite picture. not a lot of organized clouds, if anything, patchy dense clouds and settled in in the low valleys with the longer overnight hours and it will take an hour or two to burn off. once it does, beautiful with i mentioned, system moving from the west, strong cold front. cold enough in fact, there's snow on the back side of the system. you'll notice the clouds that will approach southeastern areas of the state even before that front gets here later on this afternoon. temperatures start off in the 30's, near 40 at the coast and a few upper 20's where we had the clear skies. some fog is issue, especially if you travel around the fog prone areas, if you head out, it's the concord christmas parade. pa initially, but i think beyond that, you're looking pretty good into the afternoon. the fog early this morning, i think by 8:8:30, that's not much of an issue and sunshine thereafter with temperatures running from 54 to 60 from north to south. we'll see the clouds start to approach southeastern areas at 2:00 or 3:00 this afternoon. out west this evening, the squeeze play after highs today in the 50's. there will be the chance of a shower overnight tonight, but the best chances tomorrow morning with the front moving in. area of light rain will move colder air starts to seep in behind that so areas up in to rain, and may see wet snowflakes and that changes to wet snow up north. much colder air around for monday and tuesday with highs by then likely not out of the 30's and a good portion of the state. again, coming with the wind, which is going to knock the wind chills back into the teens and 20's, so one last mild day. cloud increase tonight. rain showers around tomorrow, which could change over to a little bit of western and northern areas. extended forecast shows the colder air around through a balance of next week. brightest looks to be the busy travel day on wednesday and then a weaker system with either rain or snow showers on thanksgiving day. let's head to news 9 sports. >> now, jason the big game for the second straight season. the two teams did not meet for the regular season which should make it more challenging f >> it's usually comes down to special teams and yardage and playing defense. it's november, going to be cold out there on a saturday night, you have to play defense. >> we hope for a close game, two great programs, great respect for bedford football, always a terrific team to play against so you're going to expect a fantastic football team. >> they have athletes and guys who know how to make plays and obviously we'll have to make way they play the game, and outscored the they led by as many as 30 points and golden state holds on to win, 104-88. the monarchs home with the reading royals. all of that scoring happened in the period. chris mccarthy gave reading a 1-0 lead. with the sixth goal of the season. manchester responded with two of their own. nice backhand pass to augusta and that's his fourth of the season. then three minutes to go in the little bit of a squeeze play going on with increasing clouds late this afternoon in southeastern areas and for the rest of us this evening. that means temperatures have the chance to get back into the 50's for one more afternoon before then and much colder air, the big story, all the way through thanksgiving, follows their thereafter. we'll have the forecast coming up. >> new, a pedestrian was struck by a pickup in laconia. this happened at em street. daniel baker was driving west when he allegedly hit someone. baker was arrested for driving while intoxicated. after three teenagers allegedly broke into their home in broad daylight. this happened on friday and now two of the juveniles are facing charges. cherise leclerc spoke with the home owners and she has the story now. >> and the couple is shaken up, they live on a nice, quiet street steps away from the police department and the fire department. they say this is the last thing they would have ever expected to happen. >> shannen carbone and nick bernier's front the markings where police fingerprinted for evidence after shannon came home friday morning and noticed the door wide open. >> i thought it was my son home so i continued into the house and found we had been broken into. they ransacked the place, i went for the butcher's block. i was scared. cherise: thinking that intruders could be lying in wait, they had already left. nick received a frantic call >> i thought it was crazy to come home with the fire department right there and have somebody in broad daylight break into my house. >> the thieves made off with several of the son's items, the xbox 360 and a guitar. they didn't get far. >> the k-9 veto was able to track and when he was tracking, he came upon a construction worker who said that he had seen some people leaving the area and he was able to describe were caught. what's most shocking to nan nonand nick, this all happened in broad daylight where everyone could have seen the bars. they want their neighbors to take more precautions and say this'll be doing the same. >> we just decided tonight that we're going to be getting some security systems put in and possibly going to be getting our permits to carry because i don't feel safe in my own home anymore. >> police are beginning to the police tell us that those teens are known to the department. in belmont, cherise leclerc, news 9. amy: police are looking for a robbery suspect, saying he robbed the service credit union on petty lane. the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money and left in a and no word about bus drivers, timber lane and hampstead are fighting to keep their drivers. and the case started in brentwood and it was transferred to federal court on friday. it's unclear what the next steps would be. and students were evacuated after several people reported feeling sick. about 900 were evacuated to the athletic field after fumes they determined it was a product putting put on the wood floor of the gym that caused the problem. we checked if students had medical issues. we determined one student and one teacher were brought to the hospital. both the student and teacher taken to the hospital were treated for nonlife threatening injuries. fire crews will continue to work through the weekend to fully contain the bridge fire in the north country. right now, the u.s. forest service says the fire is about 70% crews are mopping up and patrolling the burned area to make sure there are no additional hot spots. it was in the national for rest. the cause remains under investigation. >> a popular north country restaurant will reopen after a fire damaged part of the white mountain cider company friday morning. 50 firefighters were several towns were called to the scene and took about an hour to get this under control. the building destroyed is the building and it was untouched. >> i'm sad, i mean, we put a lot of love in that building and we've been making a lot of changes in there and it's holiday season, so a fun time of the year in there, especially, so, to kind of watch that momentum die, it's, you know, it's sad. >> two firefighters suffered injuries. the fire marshall's office is investigating the cause. >> an 87-year-old veteran of three wars and his wife are in for are making much-needed repairs to their raymond home. changes that will allow them to remain there. jennifer the 20's and 30's. some patchy fog, visibilities down less than a in spots as i mentioned earlier. mid 40's atop mount washington now. some melting going on there for the time being. i suspect after that front comes through tomorrow, this is going to be a whole different place going forward, starting monday with brisk winds and areas of snow that will continue there through tuesday. so it will be a completely different scene. looking at mount washington from the mount washington valley, things very calm this morning and again, some ground fog out there in spots and that will be the issue this morning in certain places, otherwise, this morning, and full sunshine in the mid afternoon with one area seeing a spot of clouds starting to make their way in as quickly as 2:00 or 3:00, a mix of clouds and sunshine and the last mild afternoon for a while, going forward after this. we turn sharply colder and that's around for a good portion of the holiday week. clouds increase from the west and the east and some showers will be around tomorrow morning. cooler air starts to come in after. starting tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night. so, there's a look at it. after the fog burns off, it's sunshine and an area of clouds located off shore and light south easterly wind and that will be brought in quickly across the coastline. this front arrives during the evening and overnight hours tonight. temperatures in the 20's and 30's this morning and in the warm spot atop mount washington and visibilities down low in the next hour or so and then burning off, the temperatures between 54 and 60, this afternoon. so, here come the clouds from the east first, and then from the west later tonight. by early tomorrow morning, we will likely have rain shower activity moving into southwestern parts of the state and that will navigate northeast, as it does, some slightly cooler air and just cold enough in western and southwestern parts. and may change over to some wet snow. esal feet. that's your best chance out of this. later in the day, the north country, the last place to see the rain wind down. areas of light snow going thereafter the north wind and it will gust later. over 20 miles per hour, and then the rather busy, all the way through monday and tuesday, gusting over 25 miles per hour, and that means highs in the 30's to lower 40's are going to feel much colder than that, all the way to tuesday afternoon. from there, the wind lightens it doesn't look like a blockbuster storm, but light rain or snow around for thanksgiving. for the time being, look for temperatures today into the 50's. one last mild day because as you will notice going forward, all of those readings, at or below normal, all the way through next week. that means temperatures in the 30's to lower 40's. the wind will be a factor monday and tuesday, a lot of sunshine for the busy travel day wednesday and we'll keep tabs on a possibility on thanksgiving again. right now, it does not a major storm by any stretch of the imagination on any maps we've looked at. temperatures close enough, could be light rain or snow. we'll see. >> a lot of people run in the morning before they eat fog along the area lakes this morning. it should burn off in the next hour or so and lead us to full sunshine to start the day. showers tomorrow. the other is an area of clouds from the ocean and into the sea coast mid afternoon. temperatures 20's to 30's, and highs today in the 50's just about state-wide with a blend of sunshine and clouds, this is it for the milder air, from here, a much colder trying to impersonate law enforcement. commute, a woman and her daughter were pulled over on route 132 who they thought was a cop in an unmarked blue dodge charger. there were lights on the grill and no front license plate. >> there was no badge, no radio, other than the two blue lights. >> this impersonator allegedly said he pulled them over. he never i.d.'d the driver, but was concerned about her 18-year-old daughter and to the to have a seat belt. >> offered a license, he didn't right anything down. after that, he let them go. police say he turned around and drove towards ashland. >> i don't know what would make somebody want to do that unless they've always wanted to be a police officer and they've been denied in the past and they want to show some sort of power. i don't know whether this person or not targeted her because she was female. there were two females in the vehicle. i don't know if he would have done it if it was a male. >> the victims describe him as a with dark hair pulled back into a bun. in between 25 and 35 years old. >> his behavior was feminine and his voice was on the feminine side. >> if faced with a similar situation, police recommend driving to pittsburgh. she's a bealing hound mix named holliment who ill has medical care she needs to survive. a ct scan reveals both sides of her jaw are broken. half of her jaw bone was removed in surgery an easy go of it as consecutive day with temperatures at or above normal. it's going to be the last of it though as we're expecting sharply colder air to start making its way in along a front that eventually arrives tomorrow. for the time being, we have the valley fog and lower visibilities in a few spots this morning, visibilities are down less than a half mile from there. we'll continue to see sunshine, which we will enjoy elsewhere through the day today. and what should be a really nice afternoon across the area. we're expecting a light wind and a the afternoon. with a couple of exceptions. we are an expecting an increase of clouds through the sea coast and later this evening and that will bring our next chance of showers, that will arrive in southwestern areas, and move northeast from there. much colder air will start to come in behind that system and that will likely set up chance of snowflakes as well as some brisk winds as well for monday and tuesday. for the time being, we're looking at the low cloudness and sunshine across the area. west, which is a front that will approach with a rain chance. and these clouds off shore will slowly start to makeets way on shore right around mid afternoon and along the sea coast. temperatures are in the 30's and 40's this morning and upper 20's, and that's where you have the patchy fog early this morning, and that's an issue in some of the fog prone areas and lower lying valleys in the northern and western half of the state. sunshine through the and temperatures into the 50's, talking 54 to 60, north to south into the afternoon and what should be a sun-filled day for most, you see as we pan out, a gradual step backwards, temperature-wise, in the single digits and that's with snow on the ground. colder air will bump into the milder air and send us into a different weather pattern. 54 to 60, north to south into the afternoon and as you will some of the shelter valleys with the lighter winds, 54, 55 by mid afternoon. up in elevation and temperature right now, atop mount washington is 45 degrees. places like wild field could tip out around 60, later in the afternoon. a blend of clouds that will approach the sea coast and head inland. that will be the first batch of clouds and then out to the west, the front approaches and that will mean some rain chances by the time we get to tomorrow mog. a lot of rain that will go from southwest to northeast tomorrow morning, maybe just cold enough at western areas, up in terrain at 2000 feet and may switch over to wet snow tomorrow morning. we're not expecting a lot of accumulation out of that and notice as we transition in the north country, those will guest over times, 20, 25, 30 miles per hour on monday and tuesday that will keep the snow upnorth across the terrain and central and southern areas, a back and shower in southern new hampshire out of this on monday. so, for today, temperatures are up into the 50's. very light wind out of the southeast today and that will bring the clouds on shore in southeastern areas, while any sort of chances of showers will be likely confined to southwestern areas of the state after 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. and then moving northeast tomorrow morning, that will be the front. the winds will start to pick up tomorrow afternoon, it may switch to wet snow in western areas and then scattered scattered showers monday and tuesday with brisk winds and the wednesday for a lot of the folks, watching that system for thursday, it doesn't look like a huge storm right now. >> are you a thanksgiving fan? do sunshine and light get out and enjoy it today. colder air and brisk winds and details on your forecast in a few minutes. amy: new this morning, a pedestrian was hit by a pickup truck in laconia last night. it happened just before 7 on elm street near the country club. investigators say daniel baker was driving west when he allegedly struck someone. the victim left the scene, but was found a short while later and taken to the hospital. baker was arrested for driving while intoxicated. after three teens allegedly broke into the home in broad daylight. now two juveniles are facing charges. wmur's cherise leclerc spoke with the home owners and brings us the story now. >> the couple was shaken up. they live steps from the police department and the fire department. they say it's the last thing they would have ever expected to happen. char char-- shannon and nick's door still has where the police were looking for fingerprints. >> i thought my son was home and i continued into the house and found we had been broken into. they ransacked the place, i went for the butcher block. i was scared. thinking the intruders could be laying in weight, she grabbed knives from the kitchen, but the intruders already left. nick received a frantic call for come home with the fire department there and have somebody in broad daylight break into my house. >> the thieves made off with items, the xbox 360 and guitar, they didn't get far. >> the officer responded, a k-9 officer. and the k-9 veet vito was an i believe to track ap and when he tracked, he came construction worker who saw people in the area and he was able to describe them. two teenagers were caught. and what was shocking to shannon and nick, this happened during the daylight when anybody could have seen them. they're talking precautions. >> we just decided tonight we'll put some security systems put in and possibly going to be getting our permits to carry because i don't feel safe in my own home anymore. >> and police are continuing to investigate as one of those teens are known to the department. in belmont, cherise leclerc, wmur news 9. amy: police are looking for a robbery suspect, police say he robbed the credit union on penny lane. and was seen leaving in a silver colored subaru hatchback. if you have any information, call the policement still no decision in the court battle over keeping bus drivers on the hampshire school districts. timberlane and hampstead are working to keep them on the job despite being first approved for drivers in belmbelmont. the case was transferred and it's unclear what the steps will be. students in manchester were evacuated after several people reported feeling stick. about 950 people were evacuated to the athletic field after flames spread through the school. they determined it was a floor problems. >> we had medical staff on scene checking to see if students had medical issues. we determined one student and one teacher brought to the hospital. amy: both the student and teacher taken to the hospital were treated for nonlife threatening injuries. fire crews will continue to work through the weekend to fully contain the covered bridge fire in the north country. right now, the u.s. forces, crews patrolling the burned area to make sure there are no additional hot spots. it's destroyed acres in the white mountain forest and remains under investigation. a country restaurant opens after a fire destroyed part of the white mountain cider in glen. 50 firefighters were called to the scene and took about an hour to get things under control here. the business was a deli and the >> i'm sad. i mean, we put a lot of love in that building and making changes in there and it's holiday season, so, a fun time of the year in there, especially. so, to kind bars, this former funeral director spending time in jail after police say he improperly disposed of bodies. first major snowfall of the >> it is saturday morning, november 19th. where we start off with a little bit of patchy fog in the valleys and some areas, victims are down less than a third of a mile and quickly giving way to sunshine and what should be another beautiful afternoon with temperatures well into the 50's. we're looking ahead to colder temperatures though with a front approaching tomorrow morning. those details are after an apparent noose was discovered in a bathroom at a michigan middle school. teachers heard a commotion in one of the boys' restrooms 2 p.m. yesterday and discovered a noose hanging from one of the stalls. this comes after the students at the same school were videoed chanting "build the wall", it's been taken down. charged after he improperly disposed of bodies. ryder ran a funeral home in south hadley. officials allegedly found decomposing and improper stored bodies and accused of embezzling, $400,000 from families. vice-president elect mike pence surprised visit to "hamilton", he walked boos. and brandon dixon who plays aaron burr urged the vice-president to work on behalf of all americans. parts of the country have seen snow for weeks and the first major storm moved into the midwest and causing headaches for drivers. up to a foot of meteorologist kevin skarupa with your storm watch 9 forecast. >> a little bit of fog to get through this morning. this is the end of what has been a fairly mild first two-thirds of the month of november for us out there as temperatures today are going to be the 12th and 13th straight day above normal. and in the fog prone areas, that's an issue for the next hour o we get beyond that as you see the fog there in the distance and we should enjoy a lot of sunshine into the afternoon. and temperatures today making their way up into the 50's for one more day. places like the sea coast may start to see the increase in clouds even before western areas. and there's actually two areas of clouds increasinglators on tonight. rain showers pushing in tomorrow morning, colder air will eventually come in behind that, notice i didn't say cooler air, i said colder air because it's not just the temperature, it's there will be gusts monday and tuesday and flakes to be had. it does look like southern and central areas will be minor in the way of scattered snow showers. i suspect out west, there will be that chance later tomorrow morning, as we start to switch over before the rain winds down and up in the north country. it will be ever present starting late tomorrow afternoon and night and continuing on through monday and into tuesday. this is the front here and behind that, much colder air, cold enough, in fact, that it's snowing back out through parts that's the same system that produced this in the northern plains. this will come in on a light south easterly wind right around the afternoon with that eventually there. any sort of fog burning off quickly and eventually sets up sunshine with temperatures ranging today between 54 and 60. some of that elevation dependent because the temperatures this morning are starting off in the mount washington. light wind out there for the day and then eventually two areas of clouds move in. one off the ocean later on this evening and then, overnight, from our west. that will eventually give us a round of showers which start in southwestern areas around sunrise and then lift northeast, as the colder air starts to come in, notice how western areas could switch over for a time, especially up in the terrain and see the wet snowflakes. in the north country when it switches over, it stays that way on and off light areas of snow, even tuesday lingering flurries, all the way, brisk wind and much colder air builds in. temperatures highs in the 30's to lower range of the 40's, starting on monday and likely continuing all the way through the thanksgiving holiday and beyond into next weekend. so, very cold air coming in, a little bit of a pattern shift here for the time being, which could lost five to seven days, and starts with a chance of showers tomorrow, and then comes nice day for travelling around. sunshine and a light wind and then a weaker system gliding in, could mean some rain or snow showers, depending with when it arrives on thursday, that does not look like a blockbuster storm for us. the chance of light rain or light snow depending where you are. amy: good eating weather, right? >> yes, excellent. any thanksgiving meal is a good meal. amy: doesn't matter what the temperature is. kevin: exactly. amy: irrelevant. we have an first saw on news 9 this morning. a custodian at a bedford sunshine. eventually a front approaches from the west and a line of showers tomorrow morning will be leading edge of much colder air building in. and temperatures for most will be in the 50's. look for clouds to approach the sea coast and later on this shower activity for tomorrow and who sees snow out of the system with your forecast coming up. amy: right now new hampton police are looking for a man they say impersonated one of their officers. he pulled over a many with a telling her he thought she was speeding. mike cronin now in new hampton as police search for answers. >> the victim told police as soon as she saw the suspect she knew to go wasn't right so she got a veryet in hopes that someone recognizes who he is. new hampton police want to know who is pretending to be one of them. >> it's always scary. it's hard to trust people now days when they're trying to impersonate law enforcement. during the friday morning commute, a woman and her daughter were pulled over on route 132 by what they thought was a cop. there were two lights in the grill, but no front license showed he was law enforcement except the two blue lights. >> the alleged officer said he pulled them over, and he wondered if her daughter was old enough to not wear a seat belt. he took her license. after that he let them go. he turned around and drove towards ashton. >> i wouldn't know what would make somebody do that unless they wanted to be past and want to show some sort of power. i don't know whether this person or not targeted her because she was female, two females in the vehicle. i don't know if he would have done it with a man. he was 6-1, dark hair pulled into a bun, in between 25 and 35 years old. his behavior was feminine and voice was on the feminine side. >> if faced with a similar situation, police recommend look for the perpetrator, some in town are on alert. >> be very cautious and beware of your surroundings and try and just be aware. >> police haven't received any reports of any of this happening nearby, but notified other departments. anyone with information is asked to call police right away. in new hampton, mike cronin. >> the exeter school lawsuit from a through mid afternoon. we get later in the day and there will actually be two areas of clouds, one approaching from the east and one from the west. the one from the west will have some much colder air coming in behind it. for the time being, you have the outdoor plans for today, it's going to be another fantastic day for mid november with temperatures running a solid 10 degrees above normal with a good get through the day with these off shore. a flow may bring these in along the coastal plains. farther out west, this front is going to make the headlines not by how much shower activity out of it, but the colder air that comes behind it that will likely be around for a good portion of next week, including the holiday we've fallen back into the 20's in the lower lying valleys and that's where you have fog. and that will continue to burn off in the next hour or so and eventually set up sunshine into the mid afternoon stretch before the clouds start to come in from either direction. visibilities still around a third of a mile in some places through the lakes region and out through the upper valley and in portions of the north country as well. a warm spot this morning in the mid 40's atop mount washington. another mild day to be h gradual step backward. tomorrow likely in the 40's, but temperatures are going to start to fall tomorrow afternoon with the front coming through. clouds moving in by 2:00 this afternoon, clouds moving in from the east later on this afternoon and from the west later on this evening. not much shower activity before midnight, but after midnight there could be lighter hours as temperatures drop back from the 30's and 40's. the first batch of rain tomorrow northeast across the state tomorrow morning. left behind, especially up in elevation, there may be just enough moisture left over in western parts of the state that you may see it kind of wring out or changeover to light snow for a time. not expecting much accumulation out of that. up in the north country. it will be a different story, what is rainfall for a good part of tomorrow. switches over to snow tomorrow evening and likely light snow continuing off and on along with scattered snow showers in some of the higher elevations all the way through monday night and early later tomorrow afternoon and those will be a factor through tuesday afternoon and eventually the next system tries to arrive by thanksgiving. again, one last warm day, notice the next six going forward at or below normal. includes the lows and the highs and factors in the wind which will start to pick up tomorrow and gust over 20 to 25 miles per hour, monday and tuesday, that means wind chills in the teens and 20's at times. monday and tuesday. nicest of the days looks to be wednesday, keeping an eye on it for thanksgiving. doesn't look like a blockbuster storm for us. it doesn't look like huge, heavy snow accumulation, we've had that in the recent past, but it looks like-- we're not immune to
