The match is set to kick off at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ACCNX. Last season the Tigers hosted Alabama in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Historic Riggs Field but narrowly dropped the match 1-0. The previous season Clemson reached their fifth Elite Eight in program history, beating Rutgers and upsetting No. 3 UCLA before losing to eventual National Champion No. 11 Santa Clara. CLEMSON, S.C. - Megan Bornkamp, Hal Hershfelt, Maliah Morris and Caroline Conti have been named All-ACC by the conference on Thursday. This marks the ??? straight year the Tigers have had at least ?? nominations. First Team All-ACC Sophomore defender Megan Bornkamp has been named First-Team All-ACC for the first time in her career after recording a team-high 30 points and starting every match. Bornkamp has played a team high 1,525 minutes while registering 10 goals and 10 assists while anchoring the Clemson defense. Bornkamp is the first player to earn the First-Team nod since Mariana Speckmaier did so in 2018. Second Team All-ACC Junior midfielder Hal Hershfelt has been named Second Team All-ACC for the first time in her career after picking up Third Team honors last season. LOUISVILLE, K.Y. - The Clemson women’s soccer team (6-4-2) defeated Louisville (4-5-3) 2-1 on Thursday night at Lynn Family Stadium. “It was a good win tonight,” said Head Coach Eddie Radwanski. “Although we conceded a goal early, I thought we played really well in the first half. It was great of the girls to come back from behind. The second half was gritty with a lot of defending, so playing on the road in the ACC, it was a good night to get three points. Halle was very good tonight. When we needed her the most she made a couple of really big saves. When you have an exceptional goalkeeper, she can come through like that. The Tigers fell behind 1-0 almost immediately in the first half when Louisville’s Patricia Ward registered a goal at the 1:17 mark.
