No 8 Clemson Tigers Shutout Boston College 2-0, Duff Records First-Career Brace

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The No. 8 Clemson Tigers took down Boston College 2-0 as junior Mackenzie Duff recorded both goals for the Tigers and goalkeeper Halle Mackiewicz picked up her eighth clean sheet. “This was a really good win today. The ACC is never easy and playing up at Boston College is always a challenge,” Head Coach Eddie Radwanksi said. “But I thought our group had a really great focus right from the opening whistle and we were very consistent with our performance today.”After a defensive battle in most of the first half, the Tigers were able to capitalize on a corner-kick in the 41st minute. CLEMSON, S.C. –​​​​ The No. 8 Clemson Tigers drop the conference opener 4-2, in a hard-fought battle against No. 4 Florida State. Graduate Caroline Conti and senior Makenna Morris earned goals against the Seminoles while goalkeeper Halle Mackiewicz picked up four saves.  “Our team will be okay. We suffered a loss to a very good team and this was a game we could have won. Clemson, S.C. – Behind four first-half goals, No. 11 Clemson downed Upstate-rival Furman, 4-1 on Thursday night at Historic Riggs Field. Three Tigers netted their first goal of the season and 19 Tigers saw action on the field.“We got off to a great start scoring four goals, some of them were really spectacular.
