Clemson Tigers Advance To ACC Championship

CARY, N.C. – Behind two second-half goals, seventh-ranked Clemson women’s soccer downed ninth-ranked Notre Dame, 3-2, in the first of two semifinal games at the 2023 Ally ACC Women’s Soccer Championship. Mackiewicz Named 2023 ACC Goalkeeper of the Year, Nine Tigers Earn All-Conference Honors

CLEMSON, S.C. – After setting the new all-time Clemson record for single-season shutouts with 13, Halle Mackiewicz has been named the ACC Goalkeeper of the Year for the first time in her career. Clemson also had nine Tigers named throughout the First Team All-ACC, Third Team All-ACC and the All-Freshman Team, the conference announced on Wednesday. CLEMSON, S.C. - Five different Tigers scored to provide a balanced offense as the No. 8 Clemson women’s soccer team defeated Syracuse, 5-1, on Saturday evening at Historic Riggs Field. Following the win, Clemson improves to 9-1-2 (4-1 ACC), while Syracuse drops to 2-10-1 (0-5 ACC) as the Tigers take an 8-0-2 advantage in the all-time series with the Orange.“The main takeaway is that we got three valuable points in the ACC, which is the number one objective.
