Firefighters are slowly getting the upper hand on three major complexes of wildfires that are burning around the bay area. Evacuation orders have been lifted for uc santa cruz for the czu august lightning complex fires , the biggest of fire is czu august lightning complex fires. They have burned 574 square miles in parts of the east bay, the south bay and the central valley. The lnu lightning complex fires are one third contained. These have burned 564 square miles, between sonoma and yolo counties.
