For a second night in a row, weve seen things turn violent, with tear gas deployed. Eployed. Reporter this is night three of oakland protesters demanding justice for jacob blake, an africanamerican man who was shot seven times in the back by Wisconsin Police officer, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down and generating nationwide protests. Oakland Police Reporting one of their officers was injured as the crowd threw rocks and bottles and pointed lasers to their officers. Changes in policy need to be made with the

Protesters. All the Wisconsin Network protesting the shooting of blake were going to show you what happened here in oakland so take a look at your screen. You can see this is actually at the whole foods you see the windows broken out here this is not the only business that was vandalized overnight and also see several cars set on fire now according to Police Numerous fires were set dozens of windows broken and multiple businesses were vandalized. Now its important to note that the protest started peacefully. But things escalated as the night went on we know nearly 600 people took to the streets. They were asking for justice for jacob lake and also asking for Police Accountability along with fundamental change nationwide now we also know in addition to those cars and those buildings that were vandalized the Alameda County courthouse was also set on fire and numerous other businesses were set on fire as well.
