A specialist in multi-materials for luxury and POS packaging, Dapy is preparing for the post-sanitary crisis with several patented innovations, such as a contactless perfume tester and a rechargeable luminous label. Since the start of the pandemic, the company, founded in 1980 by Pierre-Yves Azuelos, has had to be highly adaptable. Explanations by Marc Bruneau Head of Sales.
Premium Beauty News - The pandemic has created new demands at POS. You have for example developed a contactless perfume tester.
Marc Bruneau - This new perfume dispenser is equipped with an infrared system, which detects movements and automatically activates the perfume spray. We have already marketed this tester for a perfume brand in the US, whose name remains confidential for the moment. ....

After about 20 years working for cosmetics giants, Jean-Louis Mathiez left the Coty group in 2005 to create Cinqpats with a team of five people and a portfolio of five patents… The company is based in Paris in the plant formerly used by Dorin, a prestigious French perfumes and cosmetics brand of the 19th and early 20th century. Every year, Cinqpats helps countless customers launch new creations. From perfume caps to foundations and lipsticks, Cinqpats has no limit. Premium Beauty News interviewed Jean-Louis Mathiez.

Owners plan to “breathe new life into historic Monaca glass factory
MONACA Employees at a storied Beaver County glass plant are looking forward to stability for the first time in decades. 
Austrian-based Stoelzle Glass chose Monaca to expand its international presence last month, purchasing the century-old former Phoenix Glass factory from Oneida Group subsidiary Anchor Hocking. It’s the company’s first plant in the United States and seventh worldwide. 
Stoelzle is a major player in premier glassware – think whiskey and perfume bottles, and plans to “breathe new life” into a facility that has historically shouldered financial pressures, company acquisitions and even a barrage of structure fires.  ....

Praised for their efforts for ecopackaging, Maison Guerlain is now strengthening their commitment for sustainability with a systematic share of ecoformulation in their innovations. After skincare, they focused on makeup, with the voiced challenge of getting at least 90% ingredients of natural origin in every new makeup formula, “
wherever possible”. After launching the L’Essentiel foundation in 2019, with a naturalness rate of 97%, this spring, they will release the iconic Terracotta, reformulated with 96% ingredients of natural origin, and the KissKiss Shine Bloom lipstick (95%) to be launched in April – a major, uncompromising strategy for this product category in the midst of a transition. And an opportunity for Cécile Lochard, the recently appointed Chief Sustainability Officer, to detail the next steps of a transformation already ....
