Social media platforms as we discussed are allowing unscrupulous actors to sell unsafe, illegal, and overpriced medical equipment during this pandemic. That is one of many issues that we see across the social media platforms. This one is not a new problem. Social media platforms continue to allow these dangerous disinformation during covid 19 pandemic, and in so doing, they expose just how dangerous and how irresponsible this kind of behavior can be and the role they play and continuing to allow it. Rampant conspiracy theories make , confusingon worse people, distracting people. Social media platforms have the technological know how and resources to fix it, that they but they have little incentive to do so. Weve got a distinguished panel these problems. We have 62 who are hospitalized, and we have one new county, which is arkansas county. We have an additional death to the total. We now have seven deaths as a result of covid19. And again, dr. We tested over 18,000 people. We are testing more people than any state in the country. Im very proud of that. More per capita than china and south korea. Total number of people tested, 200,000. Population of 19 million. Its not going to give you a random sample, but its been helping us track down the positive cases. Number of positive cases, 9,298. Total cases, 75,000 cases. You see the predominance in new york city. Westchester, nassau, and suffolk. Then rockland. You can see that area of density. It spreads out from that area of density. The march of coronavirus across the state of new york continues. We are down to just two counties that dont have a case.
