Carlton, OR, June 28, 2021 - Oregon premium wine producer Dusky Goose is pleased to announce the acquisition of a new location for its production facility, in Carlton, Oregon. Oregon winemaking luminary and Dusky Goose’s longtime founding winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash will continue to oversee production and will be joined by newly appointed Winemaker Hans Van Dale. The new production facility is located in downtown Carlton, Oregon and was previously home to Craft Wine Company. METIS, the premier M&A advisory firm in the Pacific Northwest focused on the global adult beverage and hospitality industries, was the sole transaction advisor.
According to manager and owner, John Carter, while the vineyard and tasting room remain in the Dundee Hills, production of the 2022 vintage will be at this new location. “Once we have made a few updates and modifications to the facility, we will be happy to move our winemaking to a new permanent home,” said Carter. “We a
