january six committee wants answered. as the into trump and his allies. overnight, the committee subpoenaed the secret service over deleted text messages on and before january 6th. so how did those text messages just disappear? this, week the homeland security general the ig says it happened after the messages were requested for an investigation into the attack. the secret service is telling a different story though. it says there were no malicious intense, the messages were deleted after the request because of a, quote, preplanned distant migration. what about the requests from congress? the secret service says it plans to responsibly to the subpoena. this comes as the committee gathers new facts about the so-called unhinged december 18th meeting at the white house. that is the meeting where outside advisers known as team crazy suggested that trump administration should seize voting machines to sniff out widespread voter fraud, fraud that trump knew simply didn t exist.
