At least eight people were shot in downtown oakland. Less than a block away from city hall. Officers say they responded to reports of multiple shots fired in that area. When they arrived to the scene, several people were suffering from gunshot wounds. There are reports that the fight began inside a nearby nightclub. Again, eight people were shot, but no deaths have been reported. We will keep you updated with any new information as it comes into our newsroom. The Alameda CountyDistrict Attorney will decide next week what charges may be filed against two people arrested in connection with the stabbing and burning death of an east bay woman.
