with more. reporter: federal prosecutors are saying the 29- year-old terror suspect, sayfullo saipov, is from uzbekistan and he is someone who really is motivated by hateful ideology. he had planned for a year to attack here in the united states. and two months decided he would use a truck to do so. we re also finding out that not only did he plan on hitting this bike path behind me, but he also planned on hitting the brooklyn bridge. sayfullo saipov allegedly admitted that he was inspired to commit the attack by the isis videos that he watched and had been planning this attack for two months. reporter: terror suspect sayfullo saipov is now facing federal terrorism charges that could bring the death penalty. the 29-year-old uzbekistan born suspect was charged with providing material support to isis and using a vehicle, specifically a rental truck, to plow into bicycles. jimmy drake s son was one of the victims. when i went to the morgue and i saw his face, i did ....
