it is a slushy mess. the plows have been moving through and it s been pushing water. when i say it was heavy, sticky, wet snow, you can see it s stuck to everything, including these electrical meters, the trees, and these light poles. when the sun went down, the snowfall sped up. heavy, wet flakes first piling up on the grass, then making a mess of lehigh county roads. i looked out, oh, man, look at all that. reporter: plows began work just as people headed out for dinner. we ll probably go home a little early. we have the kids at home, don t want to leave them too long in the snow. reporter: with main streets mostly deserted, it was a night to spend indoors. jill invited us into her house of metal works to dry out. nice and toasty in here. reporter: everyone came prepared for a jewelry design class. showing us how they use these hammers. they weren t as ready for the mounting snowflakes outside the door. i mean, we don t have a shovel. reporter: can t b ....
