southeast of washington, d.c. in maryland. we have learned a few new details about the situation. we will bring those to you now. base officials just tweeted the incident is ongoing at an air force hospital there at the base. they have asked everyone on the base to shelter in place. base officials also just revealed an active shooter drill was set to take place today, but this happened before that drill could take place. we do have a fox sister station in washington, d.c. it is reporting the base officials say they did not need any help from local police. some might read that as perhaps they have the situation under control or somehow contained themselves. yeah. you may remember joint base andrews, that s where the president flies into and out of on air force one. the president is not scheduled to fly out of the base today. again, these are live pictures. we will keep monitoring the situation, bring you updates as they become available. here at home we will also help ge
