proves his hands were not in his pocket. reporter: in federal court, civil cases require unanimous jury verdicts. police say they had reason to arrest an amputee who died in custody. officers arrested melvin stubs on saturday for suspicion of murdering his wife. when police arrived at his apartment, it was in disarray and signs of a struggle. stubs was treated while in custody for low sugar, and was found dead sunday morning. friends say the accusations were hard to believe. i didn t believe that when i seen the report or whatever. i was like, wow, murder? he can barely get himself up. on monday, the coroner determined his wife died of acute bacterial meningitis. four people were injured when a san francisco cable car hit a garbage truck. it happened this morning as the cable car went up jackson street. the crash interrupted service along the hide, mason and california lines for several hoarse while muni investigated. none of the injuries are serious. today ....
uncovered a los gatos couple facing charges for sexually abusing their adopted son. tonight, the victim is speaking publicly for the first time. here s the story from san josement. reporter: in 2000, a little boy from russia named denis was given what he said he thought was a second chance. i lost everything. especially being an orphan. and this was my way of living again. reporter: abc 7 news profiled the story of russian orphans and the couple who soon became denis parents. now they are facing 44 federal charges, including unlawful skou sexual intercourse. they are still living in denial. reporter: according to court records, he says that ralph began abusing him when he was 9. there was a lot of fear because i had just gained something that what i believed was a gift. reporter: he says carolyn joined in when he was 15. after 10 years, denis says he attempted to report the abuse. he says he called 911. denis says because he was older than 18, his rep ....

location. katie mars yooulo is live from valencia and cesar chavez with more. katie? reporter: dan, ama, police still have cesar chavez here shut down in front of the hospital and the hospital is at least still partially on lockdown but i ve been able to speak with people who have since been released from the building. they described for me what they heard, gunshots, loud bangs. some say it sounded like explosions. but here s what we now know happened from the police department. this all started in san bruno, where police say the gunman robbed a big 5 sporting goods store and stole a rifle and some ammunition. and then at about 4:30 he somehow got into the hospital construction site with both the handgun he used in the robbery and the rifle. now, a construction worker has told abc 7 news that he saw the man, he looked suspicious because he clearly wasn t a construction worker and he also thought he saw a gun so, he called 911. the police chief says when officers arr ....
