Numbers continue to go up and another number on the rise, hospitalizations. With thanksgiving just two days away, californias covid19 cases are not showing any signs of slowing down. The 14day Positivity Rate is 5. 6 , a 51 increase from two weeks ago on november 10th when it was 3. 7 . At that point, there were 7,000 cases a day. Today there is more than 15,000. Hospitalizations have increased since then, too by a whopping 81 . Statewide, i dont believe weve ever seen as many hospital admissions increased like we did just in the past 24 hours. This me ....

The county pleads with the public to follow covid19related rules and restrictions including the new 14day mandatory travel quarantine. Abc 7 News Reporter chris ngueyn has the story. Reporter the coronavirus rages on, a grim assessment this afternoon, hospitals in the areas of the county hit hardist by covid19 are nearing capacity as administrators scramble to ensure they have enough beds. More specifically the hospitals serving East San Jose collectively have less than a dozen icu beds available. Hospitals throughout the county are working together engaging in phone calls at least daily to redistribute patients as needed to ensure that we are continuing to provide safe and high quality care.
