Tigers Top Tar Heels in PK Shootout for Fifth ACC Tournament Championship

ACC Champions Secure National Seed, First Round Bye in NCAA Tournament

CLEMSON, S.C. – Following the program’s fifth ACC Tournament Championship, Clemson men’s soccer earned the No. 9 national seed and a first-round bye in the bottom left quadrant of the NCAA Tournament bracket, as announced during the selection show on Monday. The Tigers will face the winner of Thursday’s High Point/Charlotte matchup on Sunday at Historic Riggs Field. Kickoff time TBA. Tickets for Sunday’s match will be $8 for adults, $3 for children under the age of 12 and children under the age of two get in for free.  This marks the ninth time in ten seasons the Tigers have earned a national seed and a first-round bye. Clemson Overpowers Louisville, Advances to ACC Championship Match

Clemson, S.C. – Ousmane Sylla recorded his fourth-career brace and Arthur Duquenne recorded a career-high three assists as Clemson United overpowered Louisville, 5-1, on Wednesday evening in front of 3,785 fans in the second of two ACC quarterfinal matchups. With the win, the Tigers advance to the ACC Championship for the 11th time in school history and sixth time under head coach Mike Noonan.The Tigers recorded 28 shots to Louisville’s three, including 18 on goal. Five Tigers Earn All-Conference Honors

Clemson, S.C. – Clemson men’s soccer earned six postseason All-ACC honors, including one on each team, it was announced on Wednesday by the conference office. Voting was conduced by the league’s head coaches. First Team All-ACCSenior forward Ousmane Sylla earned his second-consecutive first team All-ACC honor and third all-conference honor of his career. Sylla leads the Tigers in both goals and assists, with seven and nine respectively. Sylla also now sits at No. 14 on Clemson’s all-time assists list (23). After scoring his first-ever career hat trick versus Boston College on Senior Night, Sylla has 23 points on the season.
