Tigers Reschedule Match Against Mercer

CLEMSON, S.C. – After postponing the match against Mercer (3-3) on Saturday, February 17, the Tigers (7-2) have rescheduled their match for Saturday, March 30. The match will begin 30 minutes after the Clemson Men’s match concludes. Mercer is coming off a 4-0 loss to Georgia Southern. In the series against Mercer, this will be the third matchup between the Tigers and the Bears, with Clemson leading 2-0. The Tigers are headed to New York to face Syracuse in their first ACC-Conference matchup of the 2024 season on Friday. COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Clemson Men’s Tennis team went toe-to-toe against the nation’s second-ranked team but ultimately fell in a narrow 4-2 decision in the ITA Kickoff Weekend opener against South Carolina (2-0) in the Palmetto Series Presented by SC Education Lottery. The Tigers (2-1) claimed the doubles point decisively and battled closely in singles, but ultimately could not hold on to pull the upset in the 115th all-time meeting between the programs.  “I was glad to see our guys come out the right way in doubles today and it paid off,” said Head Coach Brandon Wagner, coaching in his first rivalry match. “We knew it was going to be a battle no matter what - and it was. Tigers Top Tar Heels in PK Shootout for Fifth ACC Tournament Championship

CARY, N.C. – Clemson and North Carolina played 110 minutes of even soccer before the Tigers outdueled the Tar Heels 5-3 in penalty kicks to take home the 2023 ACC Championship trophy. The 2023 championship gives the Tigers five ACC Tournament Championships in program history.
