Lindsey reiser of our phoenix station kpho reports on preparations for evacuation. Reporter the Community Meeting tonight was packed with about 300 people in attendance. It was very tense at times as they fear the worst with these evacuations. Theres a lot of uncertainty. People dont know. You know, theres one road in, one road out. And youve got over 3,000 people. I do a bird show at the arboretum at flagstaff. And from what i have heard, the fire is just five miles or sore away from there. Reporter most of the people in attendance are from cucina village where they have been told to evacuate but havent been given the official notice yet. I have 30 big animals they need to get out in time, and i just want to make sure that that code red will give me enough time to evacuate all my animals.
