states soon follow? it s way too early for this. good morning. and welcome to way too early. the show that wonders if any political discourse is legitimate at this early hour. i m jonathan lemire, on this monday, february 7th. let s start with the news, there s a lot of it. several leading republicans are backing former vice president mike pence after he openly rebuked donald trump before a group of conservative lawyers. here s the former vice president pushing back at trump s claim that pence could have overturned the 2020 election. this week, president trump said i had the right to overturn the election. president trump is wrong. i had no right to overturn the election. the presidency belongs to the american people, and the american people alone. and frankly, there s no idea more unamerican than the notion that any one person could choose the american president. the truth is, there s more at stake than our party or political fortune. men and women, if we lose faith
we say seasons greetings. reporter: i think that s appropriate, but i ve had enough. reporter: me too, we ll have snow showers arriving in the afternoon and evening. it will be centered in south philadelphia and delaware and southern new jersey. one to three inches. winter weather advisory kicks in at noon and ends at 9:00 p.m. it will actually move in at 2:00 p.m. and move to the west that will be the center of the action. we ll get early sunshine as the clouds thicken up a little bit. in the afternoon hours things get messy for the evening commute. winter coats this morning, 13 degrees in allentown. 17 in reading. 19 in trenton. 23 in millville. as we go through the day, noon, cloudy, 29 degrees and by 3:00 p.m., 29 and we ll have the snow coming through the region by 3 and extending until 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., tonight. 7:00 p.m. 26 degrees it will be cold and we ll be getting the snow. taking a look at that on future tracker 6 you can see by 1:00 p.m. not a
reporter: we have that cow back on the farm. we have a winter weather advisory posted early this morning from the national weather service. you ll notice it s mainly south jersey and delaware, and the city of philadelphia and delaware county in these counties between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. we re expecting 1 to 3 inches of snow. i ll caution there will be some accumulation up to allentown and reading, as well. not as much. but the problem is the time period in the evening commute that might make things slippery today. looking at satellite we ll see sunshine and clouds filling in quickly this morning. in allentown, the temperatures had a dipped to 10 degrees. one thing i can tell you there s not much wind out there, so we don t have to worry about windchill. ten have very cold. 18 in reading. 25 in wilmington philadelphia, 21 in wilmington, 18 in trenton. as we roll through the day, sun is possible, 29 degrees by noon. i think the snow in philadelphia probably holds off unti
