Des Moines Police say 47yearold Barney Fraaken shot the two and then tried to shoot himself. His step son says he doesnt think his stepfather had ever been abusive to his mother, but was nervous when he bought several guns. Fraaken is now in Police Custody in the hospital where hes being treated for a selfinflicted gunshot wound, but he has not been officially charged.
