Senate republicans want to wait until after the president ial election to fill the Supreme Court vacancy. But the president today challenged republicans to explain why they would refuse to consider a Supreme Court candidate. Pres. Obama one court where we would expect elected officials to rise above day to day politics. And this will be the opportunity for senators to do their jobs. From the iowa utilities board on the controversial bakken oil pipeline. The board met today to review the pros and cons of the project. The pipeline would cut through 18 iowa counties.
