joe vasquez joins us with some developing details. reporter: you can see the scene behind me. i am standing on mission street right back over there is 23rd street. you might be able to see the moron car in front of this police car. just before 4:30 pm this car ran over three pedestrians. two of home are in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. police described this as a mow over. although it is not clear whether the driver ran people over on purpose. of the three victims one was in the crosswalk. two were on the bus. police say would happen is the man in the crosswalk was hit first is the driver was taking a right turn onto mission. the bus move forward and let people off at the bus stop. at that point police say two of the disembarking passengers were hit the same car. as he drove up on the sidewalk. apparently he was negotiating a right-hand turn from 23rd onto mission. he did have a red light. as he turned he struck a bus that was going northbound which caugh
