Digitas appoints Adrian Farouk to APAC CEO role Details 03 August 2021 Publicis Groupe s Digitas has promoted Adrian Farouk (pictured) to CEO of Digitas APAC. Farouk, currently CEO of Digitas and Epsilon ANZ, will take on the new role with immediate effect whilst continuing his leadership at Epsilon in the Australia and New Zealand region. In his new role, Farouk will oversee the development of Digitas across the APAC region. Digitas has accelerated its growth in the region over the past two years, expanding its footprint from six to 15 markets since 2019. Farouk will continue reporting to Michael Rebelo, CEO of Publicis Groupe ANZ for his responsibility in ANZ, with a dotted-line to Jane Lin-Baden, managing partner of Publicis Groupe APAC and executive sponsor of the Digitas brand in APAC.

Farouk’s expanded responsibilities will see him leading connected marketing agency, Digitas across multiple markets, while continuing to lead Epsilon, the data and tech platform, however only in ANZ. In what is a newly created role, Farouk will continue to report to CEO of Publicis Groupe ANZ, Michael Rebelo, for his responsibilities in the region, with a “dotted-line” to Jane Lin-Baden, managing partner of Publicis Group APAC and executive sponsor of Digitas in the region.

Publicis Groupe is promoting Adrian Farouk to lead its creative-media hybrid agency at a regional level with immediate effect, whilst retaining his current position as the ANZ leader of both Digitas and data technology platform Epsilon.  The promotion rewards Farouk for nearly 10 years of leadership, which started as managing director of LBi Australia and includes 3 years as a core member of Digitas Global Operating Committee. During Farouk s ANZ leadership, Digitas has been twice awarded Campaign Asia Digital Agency of the Year (Gold) and three times awarded Campaign Asia Specialist Agency of the Year (Silver) in Australia and New Zealand.
