More than €6 million was raised!
Despite Covid-19 restictions and heavy rain, Pieta House had great support for this year’s Darkness Into Light (DIL).
Although there were no organised walks for the second year in a row, people across the country walked, ran and swam, while social distancing, to raise funds for the suicide prevention charity.
More than €6 million was raised.
It means that Pieta’s free crisis helpline will be able to give 3,500 people 8 hours of free counselling.
Over 140,000 people across the world took part in the annual event.
