Yeah, the winds are still blowing in that area. 25 to 35 Miles Per Hour or so, with gusts perhaps reaching even a little stronger than that, and that northeast wind is creating very dry conditions. Were talking about single digit relative humidity. Giving you a look at Storm Tracker two, where we have, over the course of the last 24 hours or so, watch that northeast wind ramp up, come through the bay area, and its still out there. The wind advisory allowed to expire earlier today, but if we get into years of the north bay, you know see relative humidity is down to 5 in many areas, including sassoon and the vacaville area. Taking a look at the big rock area, we have 7 relative humidity here, and into the Oakland Hills, relative humidity here between 5 and 10 as well. So while the winds have eased up, still very breezy in some areas, and we continue with the red flag warning because of those very dry conditions. I want to point you over towards santa cruz
Red flag warning has been issued as high winds and warm temperatures cause increased fire danger putting the bay area on high alert. The utility says the potential power shut off could happen as early as tomorrow afternoon affecting more than 22,000 customers take a look at what bay area counties could be affected by the power shut off. Those counties are alameda contra costa santa clara and san mateo napa sonoma and solano counties, the highest probability areas or the north bay mountains near mount saint helene small pockets in the east bay near mount diablo the Oakland Hills east of piedmont and portions of the santa cruz area. L a new fire in fact those fires you can tell that the brush there was already set ready to go so youre in very active fire region and now weve got another fire burning. And weve got some very strong winds coming on the way. Winds right now weve seen of the 1618 Miles Per Hour in fire certainly enough to move that fire long. But thats not what were most concerned about is the winds that will likely take place this weekend, red flag warnings are going up for the entire bay area over the weekend expecting some 4050 mile an hour gusts, even down in the valley floors were going to see some very gusty winds extremely low humidity maybe even some places less than 10 and over the mountain tops maybe some 6070 mile an hour winds. So here we go put this into motion now as we take in tomorrow morning, not bad just an easy breeze. Now the west generally but then things begin to start to shift gears we start to see things pick up and by the afternoon and evening tomorrow, those winds start to pick
