Conditions continue were looking purple spots up and ran county look all around mount and then finally in the north bay. Weve got widespread areas in both napa and sonoma counties, particularly higher in the hills but anywhere where the winds pick up thats where p g news potentially going to be shutting off power if they havent done so already weve got Team Coverage kron fours will tran in the east bay Sarah Stinson in the north bay and john trouble in the Weather Center john lets go to you because this is forecast is very important. Yeah we are looking at a very windy next few hours ahead of us, especially although its going to remain breezy even into the afternoon ahead of us windy conditions noteworthy for areas that dont usually see the strongest of winds either this is pretty a substantial all across the region, lets get a look outside its it hurts our notice. Theres really no fog thats because these are dry offshore winds pushing mostly out of the north and out of the northeast. So its dry. It is windy and we also have plenty of dry tender out there dry brush dry grasses that adds up to the high fire danger were in the midst of 30 to 40 Miles Per Hour gusts regularly all across the bay from happen bay, San FranciscoOakland Hayward danville fairfield calistoga and snow but you yourselves well into a 40 mile per hour range for your wind gusts currently in staying that way through noontime today we will come down into the close of the day by the drive home tonight still breezy but not near as windy and then into the evening and tomorrow we come down even further red flag warnings extended into tuesday at 05 00pm all across the bay if youre watching this theres a good possibility, a good likelihood that you are one of these spots under red flag warnings because its from the coast or inland areas north to south. All across the bay. We are also under wind advisories that expire this morning at 11 00am 50s and 60s for current temperatures, it is mild and cool to start things out skies are overall clear its just those winds that are the catch to this morning, im talking plenty more on your forecast still to come winds also going to be interrupting your morning commute robin, whats like out there right now. Yeah, youre absolutely right. We have high wind advisories for our bridges and lots of debris scattered across lanes of traffic so be extra cautious a be on the lookout for that. Driving around the bay area this morning, were up to 92 are checking in on the san mateo bridge, heres a live look at its low, its been slow for the last hour or so so a lot of folks are rolling over to the peninsula but no big problems, im happy to report that 15 minutes here from 80 off to one on one of the bay bridge back up is gone at least for now about 40 minutes ago we had some heavier traffic at the toll plaza, but it has temporarily fanned out, i think well see another wave shortly but right now youre good come on and 15 minutes off to fremont street were checking in on the nimitz because we do have a crash thats active right here southbound at high street at least one lane blocked so the back of his not about a mile or so leading up to the scene at least its the counter commute directions. The crash. A southbound your commute direction is northbound in 8. 80 north looks good. Were checking on highway 40 picking up a little bit 18 minutes antioch to concord and then one o one still nice here from san jose to menlo park well check more traffic coming up back to you thank you robin, a 7 03 lets get back to the big story which is in the extreme win and the high fire danger in fact weve already seen fires as you can see this one broke out overnight, yeah and it was the worry of course with that the winds would spread the fire beyond what firefighters could control this is u haul business in conquer, but thankfully they were able to put it out and stop it from spreading. Yeah theres actually this is a monument boulevard so they were concerned about some businesses. This is an example of the wind whipping flames and how difficult it is and that high fire danger is exactly why pg e cut the power to many communities all across the bay area including the east bay, yeah, or into a prime example kron fours will tran is there with a look at conditions right now well. The conditions are getting a little bit better thanks to the sunrise you can see the marquee right behind me thats the famous or end a Movie Theater and lights are off theres nothing on right now theres some coffee shops that usually would be wheeling and dealing right now and said they dont have power so i dont even see employees showing up to work at this particular time that power has been out for quite some time thank goodness for my own light or some headlights that can keep crisscrossing this area otherwise it would be complete darkness but the sun is rising so thats some good news right there. Let me show you some video from a rendon lets bounce over to concord in the overnight hours the winds were howling that it took down a tree and look out when he came also took some power lines with it didnt look appear to be too much damage in that particular area it look like that house dodged a major bullet as far as damage but the winds whipping up around that area you might be able to see the flags at that car dealership as well from concord lets bounce over to san leandro same deal the wind in spare any of got a stronger than others but the bottom line is it did cause damage in san leandro as well when trees came down in that area fell on top of the house were not hearing of any major injuries. To that location, but this is the way its going to be for the next several hours as pg any were not the only ones watching the winds pg and e as well which is why they sent out this map for the overnight hours and look at how purple that is purple rain meaning places without power of course are without power as well. Yes, there are some street lights, but its quite random james and jury on just pretty much all the intersections dont have lights at this particular time many people are confused wondering when lights will be turned on. Were not sure in pga know pge already said that more lights could be turned off approximately more than 100,000 customers if you have your lights on right now consider yourself lucky, because there is a good chance as the hours move on that those particular areas with the winds could also be without power. James darya. All right, thanks a lot in with the wind a strong is much damage as weve seen who knows how long it will take peach in a 2 turn them back on look at this hour on john trouble driving into work. This morning spotted this fire that broke out near the glen park bart station right along 2 80 there in San Francisco. You can see the smoke in the streets like street lights there and then in a minute well see the actual flames themselves. Again just another example of how dangerous it can be when the winds are hi like this and firefighters jumped on this real quick got it out before it had a chance to spread good at multitasking and we have Team Coverage. This morning as we move throughout the morning john travel is a big part of that. Also in the north bay. So is Sarah Stinson shes covering the outages there. Yeah last we checked with her it was kind of blustery at her location, good morning. Sara. Very chilly wind up here near mount him above mill valley you can see the sun rising behind me its absolutely gorgeous but theres definitely a strong wind thats all across the north bay here in marine county its strongest near mount him with very strong gusts up to 70 Miles Per Hour and then in pockets down below in marine county will see calmer when take a look at this video that youll see it from santa rosa, i mean all across the north a marine sonoma napa county seeing the strong wind out there and this wind was blowing over some Outdoor Furniture you can hear it the clay can do is the wind and things blowing its been quite intense all night long and this is exactly why pg e has decided to shut off the power to thousands of their customers. And we had our cameras as well in Solano County where you can see. Just more wind more wind in more wind that is the biggest story, you know usually we hear about this wildfire danger we cant see it we cant grasp it. But with this so when we can really see it our own eyes and feel it when youre out there driving youre definitely going to feel it you got to keep both hands on the wheel make sure youre prepared because theres a lot of debris all over the roads really all over that ive seen so far on one oh one in on side streets in marine county, but here on the map now you can see all of the north bay affected by this power outage all in purple. Those are the where the customers are either without power will be without power does that red flag warning is still in effect and will be until 11 oclock so this wind is going to be sticking around so its something well be waking up to this morning we have to wait at least another hour for the sun to be fully up until lead people are in the dark still, and if youre you could be soon enough so stay tuned, were keeping update work keeping in a look at all of this will keep you up to date as soon as we hear more, but its definitely windy out here now that the sun is coming up a little bit i think i can get more of that video of all of the debris in the road. Its been super dark outside super windy and a little dangerous out there so be careful as you head out the door for now live in Murray CountySarah Stinson back to you. Thanks a lot sheriff. Yeah its a windy us this morning, even though we will be Still Holding on to breezes this afternoon winds will gradually come down by the afternoon. 60s and 70s are your high temperatures later on today, not all about of the day. Im talking what exactly to expect hour by hour still to come. Im tracking your commute around the bay area its getting busy out there, especially on the bridges like 92 pretty packed youre leaving hayward heading over to the peninsula, but also number of accidents working right now so ill have details coming up. I didnt choose this job because it was easy. But i cant say i expected this. To fight these fires, we need funding plain and simple. For this crisis, and for the next one. Prop 15 closes tax loopholes so rich corporations pay their fair share of taxes. So firefighters like me, have what we need to do the job, and to do it right. The big corporations want to keep their tax loopholes. Its what they do. Well, i do what i do. If yould like to help, join me and vote yes on prop 15. Their team. Yeah because of the strong winds and increased fire danger today. We have several popular parks in the east bay shut down weve got a list here we can share with you. The parts are being shut down by the east bay municipal utility district so an in addition to that they also have more rangers to that will be patrolling just to make sure that nobody goes where theyre not supposed to go. Again the parks operated by the east Bay Regional Park District closed on sunday because of the fire danger theyre expected to remain closed today and on your screen you see the list for which parks are impacted by this want to take closer look of course you can find it on our website at kron 4 dot com. Right now we want to continue our look at the weather because thats the biggest thing facing you as well or hit you in the face as you head out the door youll feel that the second you step outside jontre well talk more about that in the Weather Center john yeah guys definitely one of those mornings where you want to hold on to your hat as tight as you can and both hands on the Steering Wheel as you are driving because some gusty conditions continue after some very significant overnight winds to this morning skies, nice and clear at Half Moon Bay, and thats really the case all across the region as these are cool off shore winds, cool and dry winds that are pushing in really any marine layer out of the region so we were remain temperate today. But we are going to be seeing much if any fog nor that moist air that comes along with an ocean breeze just the opposite some very dry conditions. Temperatures right now are cool and wind speeds are very breezy 30 to 40 mile per hour gusts. All across the region, a little calmer across the south bay. You can see calistoga danville Fairfield Vacaville among your areas looking at those most sizable wind gusts right now by late morning into early afternoon still very breezy. But beginning to come down more and more so after that point by the time we work our way into the evening tonight and eventually into tomorrow morning. Conditions are a whole lot calmer so at least theres that to look forward to red flag warnings set to expire tomorrow at 05 00pm across the region will still be breezy enough tonight and into tomorrow that fire remains of concern these are dry winds. Despite the fact that were not in the 90s triple digits nor really even in the in the 80s on the map. We still all it takes is a spark to be able to see a fast growing fire so winds still very present condition still very dry and plenty of dry brush and grasses out there. High wind advisories. Those will expire today at 11 00am after that point winds will gradually come down for the remainder of the day today as for daytime highs today lot to look forward to hear at least will be comfortable 70s for most of our bay area locations, Half Moon Bay fremont each at 70 degrees Oakland HaywardSan Francisco sitting in the mid 70s today, some of our warmest of areas in marine and sonoma counties novato youre at 77 today, santa rosa at 76 for your high today. Temperatures over your next 7 days will be really nice not a whole lot of change actually upper 70s for inland valleys all the way through the week until we are a little bit cooler come your friday just briefly though bayside cities mostly mid 70s for you not a whole lot different than our inland valleys and for the coast it will be upper 60s to low 70s for your highs, lots of sunshine really all in on this forecast and staying dry for the remainder of the week. Robin. Thank you john lets check in on the traffic because the lines are getting longer on our bridges we finally have some crowding here at the richmond sandra fell bridge a live look at west 5 ad leading up to the toll plaza you see the folks coming to a crawl so its just now picking up but still not bad and no major issues to the north bay so 12 minutes. Thats a great drive time off to one oh one here at the bay bridge toll plaza traffic has actually thinned out for now hopefully it will stay this way we have some delays about an hour ago was stacked up from west grand thats no longer the easygoing at 15 minutes into San Francisco. Were checking in on one oh one because i discovered this car fire northbound near at least one lane blocked so north one oh one a little slow leading up to that vermont exit keep that in mind but its not a major issue and then coming along the dublin grade 5 in west and eating canyon that was the scene of a grass fire earlier this morning thats out in under control. But now we have a crash still working so one lane blocked its backing up into dublin so expect heavy traffic leaving dublin working away along the great toward castor valley. Ill keep my eyes on that for you and one more this accident on the nimitz still there still active southbound at high street, its heavy out of downtown oakland so consider 5. 80 instead of the nimitz if you want to avoid this back up well check more slow downs coming up back to you, thanks robin 7. 17 and winds across the bay area are causing concern for drivers. Yeah weve got crawfords yulia 7 she sort of been out and about. Roaming to find where the damage has been caused by the wind worry now you only. Im on 5 live honor or pass on 5. 80 just right off the high street those winds actually knocked down a pretty sizable tree onto the 5. 80 just as you try to enter from hot the high street exit you can see city workers right there. Theyre theyre actually cleaning it up there theyre theyve already cut up quite a bit of the tree but lets show you some video of how big that tree is. So just as youre either trying to get up onto the freeway or just driving by the that tree really stuck out pretty far into that number 4 lane of the 5. 80 heavy heavy westbound now. You know you can see even from the roots a gis toppled over the wind just. Ripped the roof ripped the tree out from its roots and it just landed right there on the freeway that is what what its been like all throughout over here in the east bay over and sally andrew and ruin and also over here in on the 5. 80 just tree limbs down everywhere just kind of obstructing either the street or the sidewalks this location right now here on the 5. 80 looks like its going to clear up pretty soon and just in time because this is when traffic starts to get but it was causing quite a bit of an obstruction for people to jump on safely on to the 5. 80. Now at this point it looks like a little safer because theyve slowed down traffic doing those traffic breaks and it looks like its going to clear up in the next 10 minutes or so back to you guys ok thank you very much julie. Yeah, weve got lots to talk about today primarily on the weather front because we have those strong winds overnight that are still with us this morning. Dry conditions weve got the potential for more pg Power Outages, yeah, already throughout the state more than 220,000 customers dont have power. Thats in 36 counties, 8 of those counties right here in the bay area thats right and another 136,000 more customers could lose power today. This is a look at pg and es outage map. The areas in purple indicate where power has been intentionally shut off or could be shut off. Later on today and is pretty widespread throughout the bay area lot of communities there in the mountainous regions of san mateo and santa cruz counties, the east bay around mount diablo the Oakland Hills around mount tam in marine county and then at the top of the screen youll see a lot of areas around napa and sonoma counties, the higher up you go the stronger the winds but even in the valley floor. Theyve got the potential Power Outages as well were fanned out across the bay to give you Team Coverage going to start right now in the Weather Center with john frame. Well, guys, yeah, those winds definitely causing so many issues across the bay area and theyre very widespread this morning too. Pushing from our inland areas now towards the coast. So thats keeping things dry with very little marine layer out there at least it will be a cool afternoon ahead of us theres your one rest but as for a Clear Conditions in San Francisco you can see from senator tower all the way out to the east bay and windy conditions all across the region atlas peak Napa Calistoga sonoma in the north bay very windy with winds gusting into a 40 mile per hour range right now San Francisco center fell oakland and hayward in a 30 to 40 mile per hour look at danville out in the east bay, 43 Miles Per Hour for your average wind gust over the past few minutes by one 15 pm today, still breezy just past noon time and into the afternoon later on into 08 00pm starting to show signs of really calming down by this point tomorrow will be a calmer day overall although we will see red flag warnings extended now through tomorrow at 05 00pm as we do have enough of a breeze and dry conditions carried through tomorrow that red flag warnings and high fire danger does remain of concern, 50s and 60s are your current temperatures, nice way to start the morning at least in that regard. I would say is you do get outside prepare for some of those stronger gusts, especially on your bridges, Robin Winston is with us and shes talking about how we are looking about that these winds and what that impact is on your commute this morning to lots of debris, several downed trees thats been a huge issue this morning traveling on bay area freeways and then weve had those wind advisories for our bridges so everyone should be cautious and be careful make sure you are driving at a reduced speed out there and be on the lookout for items that may be flying across the road were checking out the bay bridge toll plaza little bit of a line stacking up from the 80 overcrossing. But this is a huge improvement so not much of a backup here heading into San Francisco. Thats great news for those of you who are about to use that and checking in on oakland, this is the scene 5 80 westbound at high street we saw a report of yulia sevens is on scene with a down tree thats causing minor delays so as you approach high street, the right lane is blocked crews are on scene still working with that so thats one of those areas that you need to be on the lookout for well check back with her throughout your morning drive as well and then a car fire wrapping up in San Francisco, northbound one on one in vermont fire crews on scene one lane blocked minor delays getting through james darya thanks a lot of 7. 33 has a big story back to the big story in our Team Coverage high fire danger extreme winds which you can see in san leandro. On left hand side with the trees blowing in trees blocked actually not down in those winds and on the right in castro valley. There was a fire there was you and you can see it. Burning brightly this was a long 5. 80 crews say the strong winds obviously a big hazard for wildfires because they can cause to spread awfully quickly luckily they really get that one step down and there are thousands of customers in all 4 counties in the north bay who have no power because of the winds and pg e cutting absolutely and for more on that part of the story lets join kron 4 Sarah Stinson live in marine county sarah. Yeah its been a dark and brisk morning with those strong winds all across the north bay here on live now on panoramic highway right below mount him where you can now see the sun rising behind me absolutely gorgeous sunrise. Im sure people have been without power all 9 are very grateful for the sun to rise because it has been extremely dark weve been showing you some of the just the blackout just darkness in the streets as tons of debris on the streets as well. Take a look at some of that evidence of the wind blowing here in the north bay specifically now looking at video sent to us from the san Santa Rosa Fire Department this video shows you that wind just bustling through tipping over Outdoor Furniture you can hear it and you can see it and this has been the concern with pg need that this is why they decided to shut off the power to thousands of people and they could shut off the power to more people. As the morning goes on because that red flag warning is until 11 this morning in and thats because of this strong wind were actually able to see it with our own eyes and feel that is really showed us the danger that could be if this were to spark a wildfire weve already seen a lot of little fires spark up across the north bay. Fortunately theyve been able to put all of them out. Weve also seen a lot of downed trees in the streets, so its been causing a lot of damage this wind but fortunately no fire real big wildfire has sparked so far take a look at the map that you can see the whole area of the north bay in the dark thats all in the purple areas on that map and sonoma napa and warren counties and years plus the alley can certainly see why hairs blowing in the wind. Theres been some really strong gusts up here up towards more amount and theres gusts up to 70 Miles Per Hour and then other areas are seeing 20 to 30 mile per hour gusts. And they just it just comes thats very very strong. For now live in marin county Sarah Stinson back to you. All right, thank you very much sara now lets continue our Team Coverage this morning go to kron fours will tran in the east bay and the dark avenue i guess he uses all flashlight in his but you need one of those you go hiking with her something you know that would work well luckily, its brighter out now will. No i need those julius evans has i guess something as simple as looking at your equipment without street lights you take it for granted, but the light im in renda you can see the marquee behind me not let up let me step out of the way and show you how things are right now so yes, thank goodness for natural light, it is up right now and more importantly look at this james and ari and this is the first time ive seen this all morning. You dont see the trees swaying back and forth so the winds for now have died down but because of the winds thats why pg and e cut off power at me show you some video of other locations where the wind did quite a bit of damage in conquered the winds caused this tree to go down and then when it came down and also took with it some power lines. Fortunately that house it appears the dodged a major bullet as that does not appear a lot of damage to that home in those lines didnt cause of fire in a particular area, but you can see probably all that those flags just whipping around at the car dealership thats what it was in the overnight hours i for one didnt hear the howling but i know some people did. Lets go from orinda excuse me from concord to san leandro with the winds are also destructive as well that caused a tree to go down in that particular location. A lot of debris if it wasnt down next to somebodys house it was all over the place as far as the debris, i walked out and i saw all kinds of things on my street as well so thats why pg and e had to cut off power, they were fearful that the lines would go down and then cause wildfires lets quickly pull up a map for you you guys talked about it if youre waking up this morning you are under purple meaning Power Outages in orinda thousands of people. I dont have power right now and no word on when they will have power because its a very fluid situation keep in mind even after the danger passes pg and e said that they might take about 12 hours for them to restore power fully because they still need to check out the power lines the last you want to do is turn on the power. The line is down and then you spark a wildfire which is something you did not want to buy doing this preemptive measure if we can head back out live right now you can see their businesses behind me that are shut down. Whens the last time you actually saw pharmacy. Close i mean at the very least is a drivethru or Something Like that where people can get their medication. But no power. No medication thats just the way it is thats the new law of the land as they say back to you thats why we get the warnings and you got to prepare well so that youre not left high and dry if you need medication. Thanks. A lot. Time now is 7. 39, well take a quick break still ahead on the kron 4 morning news niner fans waking up happy campers this morning. Things after this begin to come down into the afternoon today which will certainly be some nice relief from where were currently sitting now skies are nice and clear, i mean look at berkeley our timber on right here beautiful view looking all the way out to the Golden Gate Bridge were not really talking fog a marine layer this morning because he this is are those dry offshore winds that tend to push that cool moist air away from the coast and why fire danger is so high because not just as it windy. Its also very dry humidity low as we make our way through this windy day just take a look at wind speeds all across the bay area whether youre north or south were all breezy for sure little calmer down towards Mountain View and san jose under windiest conditions further north in calistoga Vacaville Fairfield inn even danville right now checking in with winds that have consistently been gusting into a 40 to 50 mile per hour range for this highest wind gusts, 30 mile per hour winds all the way up to the coast and across the east bay too winds do start to come down in early afternoon and by Late Afternoon and early evening tonight much calmer situation is youre going to bed this evening. Tomorrow will be an even calmer day yet thats not to say we wont be breezy but compared to where were at now it will nice sense of relief red flag warnings remain in effect through tomorrow at 05 00pm all across the bay whether youre at the coast or further inland. This is due to the low humidity those strong winds and then just the overall dry conditions strike grass is dry brush that if a wildfire were to spark could spread very easily wind advisories remain in effect for only a few more hours tell 11 00am today but also for the entirety of the bay area as we just are so breezy. We are going to be looking at extreme fire weather on into the course of the rest of this early week before conditions calm down after that point. Temperatures today 70s for most to San Francisco. We do have a few 60s just right along the coastline for your highs later on the vast majority of us though in the 70s burlingame at 77 today, foster city right there with you. Redwood city at 74 for the daytime high south bay temperatures low 70s, mostly little cooler than some of our rest of our bay area numbers hayward at 73 along with pleasanton in dublin, not too often you see those numbers lining up so perfectly but thats just the time of year were moving into now were inland areas start to look a lot more similar to or bayside and even coastal areas with that heat really letting up for those inland spots. Thats the way were going to stay this week to really know major heat waves ahead of us sure temperatures will rise a few degrees here and there for inland areas but were going to be staying in the 70s. No 80s in this forecast gotta love that bayside areas also in the 70s just low to mid 70s only a few degrees warmer than our inland spots while coastal areas in the 60s to 70s so we waved goodbye to the 90s in triple digits for sure could see a couple of 80s and there but we will take at this forecast definitely at least a lot more comfortable than we have been robin looks pretty good to me thank you john were checking in on the traffic which is good in some spots, others. We have problems but ill start off with a bridge deck ipworld 2. The richmond sandra fell bridge where we still have a lot of commute traffic youre squeezing through the toll plaza so nothing major going on this is completely normal 11 minutes is a great average to the north bay here are the bay bridge toll plaza some early clearing just a little bit of a back up and its often on and some of your carpool lanes but this is pretty good 13 minutes into San Francisco now off to one of our problems kron fours yulia sevice on scene of this down tree in oakland, i took this snapshot of her report from earlier you see crews on scene theyre blocking the right lane dealing with the downed tree, this is 5. 80 west after high street mostly impacting people right here getting onto the freeway merging onto 5. 80 but so far a minor slowdown passing the scene but that right lane is blocked. Heres a look at it on traffic tracker 5 in west after high street right lane closed because of that downed tree the bigger problem is the name, its 80 south high street accident still active here. Youre backed up all the way into downtown oakland and its impacting your northbound commute as well so if you have to take the nimitz prepare for heavy traffic in both directions because of the southbound crash and high street back to you, thanks a lot rob and the time now is 7. 51 and lets talk fortyniners arresting today after a dominant win. Over the patriots in foxborough niners quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo had a coming back to where he used to be the understudy for tom brady. It was really a running game though running back Jeffrey Wilson junior rushing 412 yards, scoring 3 touchdowns and then he ended up hurting his ankle in the 3rd quarter walked off and then had to be carted back fullback how you check also scored a touchdown and i was beat the patriots, 33 to 6 patriots coach belichick suffering the worst home loss of his career with that the niners improved to a 4, 3, record with that and they do have a tough road to how a tough divisional matchup is coming up sunday when they fly to seattle take on the seahawks. Well as for the raiders they had there but home game in vegas at their stadium hosting tom brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that didnt quite go the way they wanted it to because tom brady was firing on all pistons story for 4 touchdowns against the raiders defense the raiders offense really couldnt get anything going. Only scoring 2 touchdowns sent in the end. The raiders go down in defeat final score, 45 to 20. Raiders of course as we know had a tough week leading up to the game that multiple players on their offensive line missing practice because of Covid Protocols only 4 of the 5 offensive line were cleared to play yesterday. But it really showed what one missed week of practice can do. Next up the rate is going to fly out to cleveland. Face the browns next sunday. Well take a break time now 7. 53 coming up the latest on the high fire danger because of the strong winds, heres a map showing you just how strong those gusts are blowing right now in some places like calistoga in vacaville gusting up to 45 Miles Per Hour. Strong winds everywhere, well be right back. 56 looking at the Golden Gate Bridge this morning and the bay bridge right behind me both are Crystal Clear and thats going to be something that were seeing all through the day as some winds push out towards the coast. Look at the flag on the right side of your screen there that is really blowing around there at the golden gate pushing any sort of marine layer away from the coastline will be in the upper 60s to low 70s at the coast amid windy conditions and for inland areas only the mid 70s. James. All right, thank you john time now 7. 56 coming up in the next hour powerful hurricane type winds hitting overnight across the north and east bays well take a look at this mornings conditions in more detail. Plus the genie for shutting off power across the bay area because of those wins and concerns over possible. Wild fire sparking. Well have more top for more news in just a minute. And 8 here in the bay area suffering that same fate as you can see the areas in purple on pg es map show us where the power is either out right now or could be out later on today. These are the areas of highest concern for them in include the hills in the east bay, both along the Oakland Hillside mount diablo in the north bay all those areas ard
