One of the Largest Scale nursing facilities in the country. 155 years since it was founded to care for aging pioneers, its served the neediest people of San Francisco through thick and thin. My grandmother, miss Camillia Brown spent her last 12 years in that hospital. Dementia had taken her ability to speak before she arrived, but it had never taken her personality, not all of it anyway.
