Just after noon today, officers went to an apartment complex on palo verde near tropicana and swenson. A man was found outside a first floor apartment covered in blood. Neighbors say he is frank interlichia. A man who has lived here at the palo verde villas for the last three months. He was a oommate with robin and kelly naples. The same couple who neighbors say dead. The victims appeared to have died from blunt force trauma. A baseball bat was found at the scene, but it was not confirmed whether it was used in the incident. In total, 16 police were hurt, multiple vehicles damaged. Fires lit and looting broke out. Police releasing tear gas canisters to try to disperse those crowds. Charlotte police say keith lamont scott, a 43yearold father of seven was armed. This is what police say but scotts family say he didnt have a gun and that it was a book. The officer who shot scott was africanamerican, is africanamerican, but his daughter claims her dads killing was about race.
