Police arrested a person found covered in blood in connection to the killings of a man and woman. Just after noon today, officers went to an apartment complex on palo verde near tropicana and swenson. A man was found outside a first floor apartment covered in blood. Neighbors say he is frank interlichia. A man who has lived here at the palo verde villas for the last three months. He was a oommate with robin and kelly naples. The same couple who neighbors say dead. The victims appeared to have died from blunt force trauma. A baseball bat was found at the scene, but it was not confirmed whether it was used in the incident. Most likely going to the baseball bat but its possible it could be a hammer and some other items in there so i cant definitively say what the murder weapon is until thats determined later but he did have some blood on him on a shirt which maybe from them thats yet to be determined but he did have some minor abrasions i would call them ,nothing no major injuries the motive was not immediately police say a 68 yearold man accused of shooting and wounding two people in a parking area at Mccarran International airport. Was the estranged husband of one of the victims. The suspect. Jeffrey brown. Was later arrested at a Veterans AffairsMedical Center in North Las Vegas. He was jailed pending an initial Court Appearance on charges that include attempted murder. Metro says browns wife and a man were walking to a car after indianapolis monday around 6 pm. The shooting occurred in a longterm parking lot on the sixth floor of the terminal 1 parking structure. The two victims were hospitalized in stable condition. Their names have not been made public. Lake mead boulevard in North Las Vegas was shut down to traffic this morning while firefighters responded to a fire. North Las Vegas Fire Department said it happened just before 9 this morning in the parking lot of an old wendys fast food location near the intersection of las vega boulevard. The flames erupted in some portable structures and firefighters were able to keep them under control. No one was reported injured. Investigators say arson is to blame.
