The advisory extends fairly far south down along highway 12 and east to the county line. It includes hagan road, ritchie avenue, first avenue, third avenue, Terrace Drive. Be ready to evacuate at any moment the fire is on the hills right near you. If the winds push it in your direction, you could get the call to leave immediately. Be ready. Here is the eastern part of santa rosa. The area in blue is new. That is a voluntary evacuation area. And maps we showed you yesterday, we saw that outlined in red then there was the section to the right, oakmont. Now it is the area in between that is outlined in blue. Homes. A new look over the past few hours the flame that is intensified, attacking the fire from the air and the ground. What are new Evacuation Orders in effect for santa rosa and a area near downtown sonoma. Well show you the detail map in a moment. 38 people are now confirmed dead in the wildfires burning in wine country and across northern california. 20 people died in Sonoma County alone, six people died in napa county. And while the winds are a big problem, the air quality all around the bay area is vastly improved. Meteorologists say the air quality has been the best since the fires started a week ago. Heres a look at the fire lines, the atlas fire the largest at 50,000 acres, the nuns fire 6,000, the pocket fire at 10. Firefighters beginning to gain ground. Good evening, it is now been six days since the north bay fire broke out and tonight, firefighters are hoping calm winds will help them gain the upper hand. The death toll rose to 40 and searchers fear are climbing as they are finding victims buried in the buildings. Santa rosas hospital is expected to reopen. Flames approaching the hospital forced it to evacuate early monday morning. A big concern through the Evening Centers around the nonefires that merged in to one. The fire is 15 contained.
