Firefighters worked to stop these fires quickly before they could reach homes and other buildings. People from encampments into permanent housing. Ive been really upset because when i first got here it was deplorable conditions. In the stair center . Yes. It seems to be a glorified homeless encampment. There was so much drugs being used and the doors were slamming every two minutes you cant sleep because they are up all night in and out of the buildings. James says he moved into the stair center in september. During his two months there he says the building has gone a full week without hot water. Had things that didnt work, flooded bathrooms, broken washers and dryers and fire extinguishers that were more than six months overdue for inspection. Doesnt feel safe . No. Is it clean in there .
