In north bay School Community dealing with the death of a young student. The boy died after some sort of playground accident. It happened about 10 clock this afternoon at the mark bay school in san rafael. It is a private k8 school. Now, a letter from the head of school describes a tragic accident and a child being fatally injured. According to the school, staffers were close by and they witnessed what happened and immediately called 911 and provided aid. However, the boy died. A statement from mark bay school says in part, we dont have full details yet about how this occurred, but we are working with authorities to investigate the safety of our students is so important to all of us and we want to understand how this could have happened.
