I could the reverse lights go on and off, on and off. As they checked on his well being to see if he needed medical attention, the driver started to wake up, quickly put the car in reverse, knocking both officers down. Reporter but one of the officers was more than knocked down. All of a sudden the guy just reversed and kind of tracked the officers for a little bit. One of them was caught by the vehicle and was dragged about 10 to 15 feet. He was not run over, but he certainly was dragged. I was really scared for them. Reporter police say the driver sped off, and investigators are looking for him and his car, a light colored suv. The best thing to do is for the driver to turn himself in. People from encampments into permanent housing. Ive been really upset because when i first got here it was deplorable conditions. In the stair center . Yes. It seems to be a glorified homeless encampment. There was so much drugs being used and the doors were slamming every two minutes you cant sleep because they are up all night in and out of the buildings. James says he moved into the stair center in september. During his two months there he says the building has gone a full week without hot water. Had things that didnt work, flooded bathrooms, broken washers and dryers and fire extinguishers that were more than six months overdue for inspection. Doesnt feel safe . No. Is it clean in there . No. That is why it was so deplorable. Bathrooms were disgusting.
