But this morning, there were scary moments when a man drove up to this entrance and started shooting. Fairfax county police tell aus 53yearold man from louden county came to the hospital with a self inflicted gunshot wound but the door to this entrance was locked. Thats when police say he fired a shot into the glass door, got inside and fired his weapon again. No one was hit. And Security Officers were able to subdue the man. And get him treated. We were called, all we heard was there is a gunshot wound in the e. R. So you go and you take care of it. Reporter it wasnt until after dave smith and a team of doctors and nurses treated him that they heard the whole story. Once we heard the story, you kind of move on, because you still have other patients to take care of. Reporter police have not said why this man started shooting in the first place. Coast guard crews, police, firefighters and Good Samaritans right now are searching for a 14 year old boy in the waters in the atlantic ocean. The boy was last seen in the water near ninth street in ocean city. Officials say the boy was swimming with friends earlier tonight when they were all swept out by a rip current. Everyone but the 14 year old made it back to shore. The name of the boy is not yet been released, of course, we will keep you updated on this developing story.
