Authorities seized nearly a dozen dirt bikes, ATVs, mopeds and motor scooters in Boston over the weekend after an “overwhelming number of community complaints” of reckless driving, police said.
Law enforcement’s seizure of the 11 recreational and off-road vehicles this past weekend was part of an ongoing effort to address complaints and quality-of-life concerns related to large groups of people driving “around the city in a reckless and irresponsible manner,” the Boston Police Department said in a statement.
