Block of 84th avenue in east oakland. Reporter officers encountered three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of those victims was pronounced deceased on the scene. Two other victims were transported to the hospital. We have later been advised that the second victim has also been pronounced deceased. So today we have two homicide victims. Police began canvassing for witnesses and collecting evidence. They say just before the shoot, there had been a confrontation. Please did not say how many people fired at the victims. They have made no arrests. Police say its too soon to know the motive, but violence has been on om those Community Members about how frightened they are, about the traumatic experience they had last night of listening to bullets flying through their homes and into their cars.
