There will be clouds coming in this afternoon, turning partly sunny for philadelphia, the Lehigh Valley and the suburbs where you see new jersey sunshine, 73 degrees for interior new jersey and 72 at the shore. Sunshine will start things off in delaware. Up to 73 with increasing clouds later this afternoon. And those clouds will lead to some wet weather. Outside we found a buzz of activity as this campus hosts to prepare its third president ial debate. The circus is coming to town. All of the media is here. The eyes of the world are on hofstra and they will be for about 36 hours. This will be the first time voters will see the two Major Party Candidates side by side questioned by nbcs lester holt. The latest president ial poll shows clinton and trump in a statistical tie in the push for pennsylvania. The poll by the allentown morning call at Muhlenberg College finds clinton is 44 compared to 41 for trump. The Research Suggests that trump is closing in on clinton because of rising support in his own party. Nbc 10s matt delucia is live for us in center city. Matt, what are the experts saying that trump and clinton need to do tonight . For one, they need to come out strong, tracy and vai. Before it happens, this debate is quickly earning that potential of becoming the most watched political debate in history, rivaling super bowl numbers.

I always talk about that. Any one poll can have its problems, even the good polls. Id say 4 or 5 points, but remember what this elections about. Both campaigns have targeted four states pennsylvania, ohio, north carolina, and. Florida. Mmhmm. 82 electoral votes in four states out of the 270. And well have a poll next week, and well take a look at it. I would think 4 or 5 bounce, but last point about this historically, the bounce goes away. Maybe, arguably, two elections were decided by a bounce from a successful debate. Well, its interesting you say that. Public policy polling, which i know youve got some issues with, they have her up 5 Percentage Points in pennsylvania, yet that was the same as the last two polls. And when i read that from them, it just seems as though, if thats what youre telling me, it didnt really do anything for her here. Now, remember, before the debate, there were two polls one done by Muhlenberg College and another one by cnn that had the election at 2 and 1 ,
