MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) â Bethany Lutheran Collegeâs annual 5K is going virtual this year.
The Virtual Race Week is being held between April 5-11.
The race is usually held at the college campus
The 5K is a way for past, present and future Vikings to get some endorphins and competitive nature going.
The race will be completed on the runnersâ own time. Runners can submit their times to Bethanyâs website during race week.

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) â Minnesota State Mavericks fans have been in the stands for a little over a month now, and the university says itâs been going well.
A limited number of fans were allowed back into the facilities, starting with mostly family members.
Looking at one of the main winter sports still going strong into playoffs is menâs hockey. Players, family, friends and fans are excited to get some energy back in the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KEYC) - The business tax filing deadline is fast approaching, with the due date stamped for March 15th.
But there’s one question many businesses are hoping to have answered before next week.
That’s whether or not they can be taxed on their Paycheck Protection Program, or PPP loans, awarded during the pandemic, that helped many businesses survive.

WASECA, Minn. (KEYC) - A Waseca County Public Health COVID-19 clinic is opening up vaccination appointments to those 65 and older this week.
Those eligible can schedule an appointment to receive their vaccine on Thursday, March 11th.
Appointments are open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Community Services Building in Waseca, located at 1000 W Elm Ave.
Recipients will get the Moderna vaccine.
You can schedule an appointment online, or if you are unable to schedule on the web, call 507-835-0690 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm weekdays to make your appointment.

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) Boy Scouts are making changes to their annual programming to offset the impact the pandemic had on their fall fundraising.
The Twin Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America says their annual popcorn fundraiser saw a drastic decrease in sales last year.
In an effort to raise more support for their troops, local Boy Scouts are selling flowers and Bunny’s Boxes, which contain items from area businesses around Mankato.
