Officers found the student. He did have a handgun on his person. He was very cooperative. He did not resist arrest. Monday a student at Village High School in pleasanton was arrested after he brought a loaded gun. On tuesday at twin creeks elementary in san ramon, an 8yearold brought a loaded gun, showing it to other students. His father is now under arrest, facing several charges including child endangerment. At milpitas high, police would not say how the teenager got the gun. Some say they want schools to be more involved. But this is one of the only times, besides new years, that we see parts of the strip shut down for an event. So for commuters. Keep in mind theres a lot of road closures. One of the bigger ones that might impact you is las vegas boulevard from russel road to ogden. Other downtown closures include, 4th, 6th and 7th street. Bonnevil avenues.
