The Kansas Women’s Golf team finished tied for 14th at the Clemson Invitational at the Reserve at Lake Keowee on Sunday. The Jayhawks shot a combined +61 in an 18-team field.
TEAM LEADERBOARD • PLAYER LEADERBOARD SUNSET, S.C. – The Clemson women’s golf team finished tenth of 17 teams as play concluded at the Clemson Invitational Sunday at the Reserve at Lake Keowee. Course conditions again proved challenging for the field, which included 13 ranked teams, as no team finished below par for any round, and only three players broke par in the final round. The Tigers finished 16-over-par on the day, 12 shots better than Saturday, and closed with a 48-over-par 912 team score. Ingrid Lindblad’s birdie on 17 gave LSU the team title at 27-over-par by one stroke over Illinois. Lindblad was the lone player under par for the tournament, claiming medalist honors by five strokes with rounds of 74-70-68-212 (-4). On Sunday, Freshman Melena Barrientos led the Tigers with a 74 (+2), while Annabelle Pancake turned in a three-over-par 75.
