CLEMSON, S.C. – Atlantic Coast Conference named 374 Clemson student-athletes to the ACC Academic Honor Roll. This is the highest total recorded in a single year, surpassing the 2022 record of 337. The ACC Honor Roll is composed of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. The list featured five student-athletes who earned the honor for a fifth time Gracyn Burgess (women’s golf), Carson Donnelly (football), Caroline Jacobsen (softball), Drew Swinney (football), and Hunter Tyson (basketball). Thirty-seven individuals received the honor for the fourth time. Clemson student-athletes have achieved a collective GPA of 3.0 or higher for 10 straight semesters, beginning Fall 2018, including a 3.23 in the fall and a record-tying 3.25 in the spring. TEAM LEADERBOARD • PLAYER LEADERBOARD SUNSET, S.C. – The Clemson women’s golf team finished tenth of 17 teams as play concluded at the Clemson Invitational Sunday at the Reserve at Lake Keowee. Course conditions again proved challenging for the field, which included 13 ranked teams, as no team finished below par for any round, and only three players broke par in the final round. The Tigers finished 16-over-par on the day, 12 shots better than Saturday, and closed with a 48-over-par 912 team score. Ingrid Lindblad’s birdie on 17 gave LSU the team title at 27-over-par by one stroke over Illinois. Lindblad was the lone player under par for the tournament, claiming medalist honors by five strokes with rounds of 74-70-68-212 (-4). On Sunday, Freshman Melena Barrientos led the Tigers with a 74 (+2), while Annabelle Pancake turned in a three-over-par 75. The wind was a major factor Saturday, as no team shot better than eight-over-par and only three individuals in the 101-player field broke par. The 34th-ranked Tigers are ahead of six ranked teams entering the final round. Annabelle Pancake’s 76 (+4) led the Tigers individually, and she sits in a tie for 15th among 101 players. Katherine Schuster posted a 78, an improvement of ten shots from her first round. Callista Rice and Savannah Grewal each posted an nine-over-par 81, while Melena Barrientos shot an 82. Individually, Lindsay May shot one-under 35 on the front on the way to a 75 (+3). The No. 34 Tigers finished ahead of 11 ranked teams after the first round. Savannah Grewal led Clemson individually, finishing with a 70 (-2) to sit in a tie for third. The Mississauga, Ontario, native fought the wind to birdie two of her last three holes to finish under par. Annabelle Pancake finished at +1, sitting in a tie for 15th, while Callista Rice finished even on the back nine to shoot a 74 on the afternoon (+2) and sit in a tie for 21st. Melena Barrientos (75) is tied for 30th and Katherine Schuster finished tied for 96th (82). Individually, Gabriella Tomanka finished +3 (75) to finish tied for 30th, while Lindsay May (T-70) and Gracyn Burgess (T-96) round out the Tigers’ participants.
