CLEMSON, S.C. – Following their success in the classroom, 14 Tigers have been named to the All-ACC Academic Team for women’s soccer as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.  With 14 honorees, this marks the second-highest amount in program history. Last season, Clemson set a new program-record with 15.  Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. The athletic requirement for student-athletes is to have played in at least 50 percent of competition. Megan Bornkamp, Hal Hershfelt and Caroline Conti all picked up their fourth All-ACC Academic honor as Clemson was the only school in the conference to have three athletes earn the honor for the fourth time in their career.
