Firefighters cant get an accurate count of how many homes have been destroyed in the wildfires burning in Southern California right now. Here you see the remnants of a home that could not be saved. We know that fire crews from the bay area are helping their brothers and sisters in the southland. It is different stating situation all too familiar to us in the bay area. Early similar, not only the video that we have been broadcasting but the images were starting to see in the newspapers. Also what we learned from the fires in the north bay, what firefighters learned, hopefully they are putting it towards the fires burning in Southern California. The 405, l. A. s busiest freeway, was closed between the 10 and the 101. That would be like closing the bay bridge for hours. It is one of the huge work horses of the area. They closed it.
