Moments ago we learned that one of them has died. Henry lee is following the latest development. He joins us live from the newsroom. Sad news indeed reported by sacramento, telling us to the sheriff deputy has died and was started as a car Death Investigation ended with a shares deputy being shot and killed and two other officers were wounded. Those two other officers are expected to survive. One of the three suspects was also shot. This happened in three separate scenes in the sacramento area. They are still surrounding the ramada inn on the capital city freeway. Officials say a vehicle that task force suspected that. Spotted a stolen car. They saw two men inside. The two women led the officers on the chase that led south to elk grove. That is where the women were taken into custody. The officers returned to the ramada inn and thats where the first shots were fired. The suspect started firing shots where the officers were located. Two chp investigators were struck by the gunfire.
