Three people were rescued from a boat that capsized near alcatraz, about 3 00 this afternoon. Marine units from San Francisco fire and the u. S. Coast guard took heart in the search which Authorities Say involved a 12 foot boat that began taking on water. Authorities say two of the people on board were rescued by another boat in the area, a third person was later found on the shoreline of alcatraz island. All three were evaluated by paramedics, and are said to be okay. Rescuers pulled a body from the ocean near sutro baths in San Francisco earlier today. The call came in at 8 45 this morning. A person in need of assistance, the u. S. Coast guard was called in to help with the recovery of the body.
